Besides Subways, How To Get To Downtown Manhattan (Liberty Plaza) Best For Weekdays In The Morning?

Besides subways, anyone knows what bus tucker to get to downtown Manhattan (Liberty Plaza) best for weekdays in the morning?
Where are you starting from?
Don't take the bus. During scurry hours street traffic will slow you down to a crawl. The subway would be faster and runs more frequntly.
But if you surely want to do it by bus - if you are in Manhattan, the M1 and M6 bus runs down Broadway and stops either in front of the building or a block away.

There is express bus service from Brooklyn but only one within Manhattan.
Is It Safe To Travel Back From Manhattan To Queensboro Plaza Station By Subway?

We devise to travel to NYC this Christmas. Since it is so expensive to stay in Manhattan, we decided to stay at Long Island Diocese where it's just across the east river. But we might stay late to 10pm or 11pm at Manhattan at night. Is it safe for us to go back to LIC by subway at current night? And is it ok for us to walk to our hotel which is just one block away from the Queensboro Plaza Station? How's refuge around the area? Thank you very much!
And also how about Queens Plaza station?
As I always say, don't about so much about the subway itself. Think more about where you have to go after you get off the subway. The subway there will be fine, you're talking about some of the busier lines around. As for the neighbourhood around the station, it's OK, but be aware of your surroundings. Not my ideal place to be at 10 or 11 PM, but it's not horrendous. It's OK.

the 7th Avenue entrance to Penn Standing is on the west side of 7th at West 32nd Street. cross the street to the east side of 7th Avenue and 11 Penn Plaza occupies the unmixed block from West 31st to West 32nd Streets.
