Are There Any Shopping Outlets Near Manhattan With Designer Sample Clothing?

Are there any shopping outlets in or closer Manhattan with designer sample clothing? or any other great outlet stores like abercrombie, wring, BR, stores like that?
The stores you listed aren't creator... they'res sample sales going on year round from various designers. Discontinuance sales update threads on clothing interest sites, for info on these.
Is it reasonable? Are there any Salvation Army stores, or something similar? Every vintage place I've shopped has been wayy overpriced. Draughtsman names is important but not everything, I am used to having to sort through tons of duds to find the gem.
There are several types of stores like that that you can find in the phone rules like the Salvation Army, Goodwill and St Vincent DePaul.
The only Salvation Army that I be informed in Manhattan is huge, It is on 44th street between 11th ave and the River. They have stores in some of the other boroughs. In Queens there is a store on Archer Ave, about three blocks west of the Parsons/Archer position on the subway (E Train and others) and another on Steinway Street. at 34th ave. The subway stops right there. That's the Steinway concourse stop on the G, R or V. That is about a fifteen minute ride from Manhattan.

I will be in NY next week for vacation and I want to buy a carry-on dvd player and some dvd's. What places in Manhattan do you recommend for doing this? Thanks!
In point of fact, any Best Buy or Circuit City would be perfect for the portable DVD player and DVD's. We do have them in Manhattan (use the links below and do the store locator...if they ask for a zip lex non scripta 'common law...use 10022 - that's Midtown Manhattan.)
However, if you are looking for a quality style player...near professional, as the disseminate ads say "Ya Go to B&H!". That place is HUGE, just like J&R but they are closed on Saturday.

Well, there's unqualifiedly not much at ALL, way, way, way over at 11th Ave. and 58th Street, but Midtown West is a shopper's delight, full of all kinds of stores from high-end designers to crappy souvenir shops, it's all there.
