omg people, there are some cheap restaurants in manhattan!!!! ive been to one where the food was $7 and the viands was delicious!!!! i'm just trying to find out more places.
La Tas de Oro on Eighth Avenue and 15th Avenue - wonderful rice and beans - good fish and pork dishes. Very inexpensive
Mandoo Dumpling Bar, East 32nd Road off Fifth Avenue - specializes in Korean mandoo dumplings
Wondee Siam on Ninth Avenue and 53rd Lane
Great New York Noodletown, Bowery and Bayard - really cheap and really, surely good
Sentosa - Malaysian, 3 Allen Street on the Lower East Sided
The Burger Collaborative at the Parker Meridian, 57th and Sixth Avenue
