I Am Looking For Psychologist In Manhattan, Kansas And In El Paso, Texas To Help My Fiance?

Since my husband-to-beé have come back from Iraq, he has been very stressed and confused about many things. After a long conversation with him, he has agreed in looking for help help with a psychologist. He has some issues, traumas from his childhood and some from the war that he needs to heal to, so that he will have a chance to be happy again in his entity. He was giving up to get married and he was a little “anger” and sad about life. So, I am trying to find some connoisseur that can help him, but the problem that we do not have much money to spend with it. So, I would like to know if I will find a psychologist that would not charge so much for the sections. Please, daily help us to find a good one near Fort Riley; Manhattan, Kansas and in El Paso, Texas. He is going to be transferred to Fort Gladness next August as well. My fiancé and I are apart at this moment and we will be together just in September; and I am doing my best to cure him at this moment and I need your help now. I function right here, next to Ft. Bliss. Here in El Paso we only have one place that has a sliding fee and that is El Paso Community MH/MR Center. It is located at 1600 Montana. It is west on Montana coming from the Robert E. Lee Rd. make one's departure on the base, south on Airport rd. to a right turn on Montana. We also have a VA hospital that offers outpatient services as well. You can see it from my ill fame and the base as well. It is up against the mountain. It's the tall rectangle building. It is accessable by bus too. My husband went there for ptsd treatment. Aid him with as much as you can, take care. -Max
I Want To Be A Pediatric Psychologist. What Schooling Would I Need To Achieve This?

I lust after to be a pediatric psychologist dealing with children who have been through tough situations (i.e. divorce, death, rape) and/or those who have popular struggles (i.e. bullying. etc.)
I am thinking right now that i want to go to Marymount Manhattan College and go through their psychology program. But I also differentiate that to practice I need to have a doctorate.
Would somebody please give me an example of universities, majors, and programs that would be of value to me.
New York, Washington, & Utah are indeed my only state options for college. (none out of these states please) Thanks!
Typically this job is improved known as a child psychologist. To become a psychologist period, you need to acquire your doctorate degree (PhD or PsyD). First you'd have to get your bachelor's order (in some branch of psychology) and this takes around 4 years. After you graduate from college, you'll need to go to grad junior high school. Sometimes you can go straight into a doctorate program, but other times you may need to get your masters degree before hand. The masters takes around 2-3 years - most MA programs tender you a 2 or 3 year choice; this is because you can choose to do your internship during your second year while you do classes, or you can just do classes the subordinate year and do the internship by itself during a third year. Then another 4-5 years to get your doctorate degree. The final year of your doctorate is another internship. Try to find something that allows you to line w/ children if you can.
Once you become a psychologist you can choose what demographic you want to work w/. If all you want to do it counseling w/ children, I would stand up for just becoming a child therapist, instead. To become a therapist all you need is your masters degee at mimimum. If you want to do analysis or eventually become a professor, you should go w/ the doctorate.
i am contemporary to a state college and will probaly go to a decent grad school. what will my first 1-4 year remuneration be? how about my salary after 10 years of working? i really want to move to NYC and live in the upper east side manhattan, do you notion of i will be able to afford that after grad school?
Your remuneration is going to depend on:
1) The level of qualification you will attain (PhD will typically earn more than a Masters)
2) What category of psychology you will major in (Industrial/Organisational will earn more)
3) How you practice (private practice will take home more than public).
