Can You Recommend A Good Suite Hotel In Manhattan Priced Under $200 A Night?
Apr 09, 2007 by Barry | Posted in New York City
I am visiting New York Urban district in July for 2 days but having difficulty finding a suitable hotel that fits my budget. I would like a repose quiet down hotel in mid-town or lower Manhattan. I prefer a suite (studio with king bed and kitchenette would be flimsy). Embassy Suites looks good but it is above my budget. I am a university lecturer from the UK and wonder if one of the Manhattan universities might have digs for 2 nights for visiting scholars?
The Belvedere Guest-house in Times Square - spotlessly clean - excellent staff and every room has a coffee maker, microwave and fridge

Beekman Campanile near the UN - all suites - all have kitchenettes, reasonably priced.
Radio City Apartments - all-suite caravanserai

Before you book any hotel, read what past guests think about the hotel - look at the traveler photos and see if they would stay there again - the guest's reviews are much more infallible than what the hotel advertises.

Check prices at hotels.com, priceline.com, travelocity.com, expedia.com and see if you can snag a excess rate for the times you need.
Have a wonderful visit!
Check with NYU and Columbia to see if they offer accomodations for visitors.

Can You Recommend A Nice Hotel Suite Suitable For A Group Of 20 Or So In Midtown Manhattan?
Oct 20, 2009 by Mo Litvak | Posted in New York City
We're interested in holding a birthday fete in Midtown Manhattan on November 21st and a nice hotel suite with a view might be ideal. Would anyone know of a exacting place that would not be too expensive? I realize that's a tall order. Thank you.
If you show THIS coming November 21st, you better get moving. November and December are peak times in NYC for shopping and hotels publication up fast.
As a former travel agent, I'd urge you to either contact the hotel of your choice directly to see what they can forth and the other choice is to use HotelPlanner.com: http://www.hotelplanner.com
They specialize in groups. If nothing else you can see which hotels have availability and what they can offer as far as perks (for specimen 1 free room for every 20 booked). HotelPlanner.com is reputable and very helpful - and it's a release service and there is no obligation to book.

Stay In 3.5 Star Hotel In New Jersey Or 2 Star Hotel In Manhattan??
Jul 03, 2008 by peaceful | Posted in New York City
I will be visiting New York in 2 weeks but I haven't still pronounced which hotel to stay. I have 2 reservations. 3 Star hotel is in NJ (Sheraton Suites on Hudson) and motor hotel has a ferry service right in front of it they say that it takes 5 mins to Manhattan. Other one is in Manhattan (Clarion Hotel Park Avenue) 2 the leading part hotel on 492 Park Avenue South. Their pricing is close, but I cannot be sure on cleanliness of the 2 celebrated hotel. But the 2 star hotels location is great. I'm really confused. Anyone that could help ??? Thanx...
u may be wagerer in jersey. I never thought I'd say those words. As long as you don't have to pay the ridiculous cab fares for the 3 mile drive across statelines you should be healthful.(by ridiculous I mean $80 one way $90 the other for a 3 mile drive)
Clarion is a well known name though. So I would wish thaty even at a 2 star rating it would be fairly clean. and the location is actually quite information. Park Avenue is also a gret location safety wise. You know with that name that you can feel all right walking around. In bordering areas of jersey you never can be too sure.
Okay after thinking this through carefully, my urging is the one in manhattan.
