Can You Recommend A Good Suite Hotel In Manhattan Priced Under $200 A Night?

I am visiting New York Municipality in July for 2 days but having difficulty finding a suitable hotel that fits my budget. I would like a quietude hotel in mid-town or lower Manhattan. I prefer a suite (studio with king bed and kitchenette would be fine). Embassy Suites looks meet but it is above my budget. I am a university lecturer from the UK and wonder if one of the Manhattan universities might have accommodation for 2 nights for visiting scholars?

Before you laws any hotel, read what previous guests think about the hotel - look at the traveler photos and see if they would stay there again - the caller's reviews are much more reliable than what the hotel advertises.

We're interested in holding a birthday reception in Midtown Manhattan on November 21st and a nice hotel suite with a view might be ideal. Would anyone know of a nice place that would not be too priceless? I realize that's a tall order. Thank you.
If you exceptional THIS coming November 21st, you better get moving. November and December are peak times in NYC for shopping and hotels register up fast.

Looking for a 5 Star hotel in Manhattan that offers a suite with an operational larder for people who prefer the luxury of a 5 Star hotel but who would like to do thier own cooking. Any suggestions?
Inside of the apartment I stayed at, Embassy Suites, Manhattan, NYC, NY. Very nice and spacious room, no complaints!
