Manhattan Project Or Cold War Research Question?
Mar 31, 2009 by assailantkilla | Posted in History
Hey guys, I'm philosophical of doing a long research project for history on the Manhattan Project or the Cold War. I was wondering what's a good point question for me to do on the Manhattan Project or the cold war? I can't think of a good question that will have decent information to make room a lengthy report on.
In actuality, a good project might be starting with the Manhattan project and carrying it into the Cold War. About how atomic weapons spurred the war.
You could also use surveillance in the cold war. Start again with the Manhattan project and the Rosenbergs.

Please Suggest A Personal Navigator To Use In Manhattan NY (walking). Internet Research = Garmin Street Pilot?

Deprivation something easy to use and view. Does it matter that we will be walking instead of in a vehicle? I've never used one before and have no notion what to look for. Are there specific "cards" one can purchase for various citys?
It in effect doesn't matter if you are walking, or in a car, the GPS will work the same. What you really want to look at is something that will comfortable being handheld. Rather than the SP (I'm assuming Nuvi), I would look at the Garmin GPSMAP 60CX. It will to road level routing (you will have to purchase the mapset, $140). This unit is more suited to walking, and has the leading sensitivity gps reciever that you will need to get any reception in the city. If you don't need the street level routing, you might look at the smaller Garmin etrex units.
