i requirement to know how long it will take to get from one place to the other.
i need to know this before october 4th. PLEASE HELP !
i have a school in manhattan thats between 9th & 1Oth avenue, the hours are between 2 - 4 but im tryinq to get to the hotel before 5.
can i fall upon it ?
would it be quicker by car or train ?
Guard would be the fastest. After you're done at the school, walk to 42nd Street and Broadway and get the number 7 train to 103rd road and Roosevelt Avenue in Corona (the town right next to East Elmhurst).
From there, if you have time you can take the mass 23 bus which will let you off right across the street from the Crowne Plaza. If you don't have time you can always hail a gypsy cab on the street to the motor hotel for about 8-10 bucks.
To save the most time, take the number 7 Express from 42nd to Junction Boulevard and get a cab on the high road to the hotel, about 7 bucks.

Can anyone let slip me approximately how long it would take to drive from Midtown Manhattan, NY, to Great Neck, NY?
How many miles is it?
See, I'm going to New York for a week at the end of the summer-- I inadequacy to visit the Juilliard School while I'm there, and we're staying at a Shearton hotel in Midtown.
The address of Juilliard is
60 Lincoln Center Plaza, Unforgivable Neck, NY, 10023.
If anyone knows how to calculate the miles or w/e, please help me;

Julliard is within walking disassociate of your hotel. At least if you are at the Seventh Ave Sheraton. Go to Broadway, turn North, (against the flow of traffic) and on up yo 65th street and turn left. The school is on that block. I don't know why they call it great neck, maybe it was a typo. Fast Neck's zip is 11023, the school is `10023.
The walk is less than a mile and driving is not an option. Public transmit is an possibility, however.

There are many out-and-out affordable places to eat in the city! You were told wrong! Just go away from the common rubbernecker places to eat. Definitely don't try to eat out around times square or rockefeller center. Very overcrowded and overpriced to say the least.
I would present the Lower East Side and The Village for nice affordable places to eat. Downtown Brooklyn as well.
You'll get much more bang for your buck there.

Does Anyone Know What Happened To Fun Zone @ Bruckner Shopping Plaza In The Bronx? It's Closed Apparently.

I stress to know of any other indoor playgrounds similiar to Fun Zone in the Bronx,Ny or Manhattan. Indoor playgrounds w/ ball pit, excursion on trains, toys food etc. I tried to find if they maybe had moved somewhere else but the number is disconnected. There was a pizza hut next door or in the Fun Zone, but's that's closed also.
hey crystal, thanx for the comeback! Yea i really really miss funzone. Went there once w/ my 2 yr old last year and went to get some pizza hut a unite of months ago and sales rep downstairs @ The Childrens Place told me there were closed. Sooo I will be customary to Chucky Cheese. Thanx for the idea. I take the 5 train to Gunhill. Never been around that area though. Also a coworker of mine takes her daughter to Funtopia in Central Village Queens. It's exactly the same as Funzone, plus they have a laser tag room and rooms for restrictive parties w/ dance floor. It's really nice over there and they have a huge shopping area w/ kmart, costco, conway etc. Kinda far out there for me coming from the Bronx, but it's importance it. They have a toddler area also and you get to come back the next visit for free I think. The food court is not that excess though. They go by the name Ooba Dooba Funtopia. I think either the M or J train goes out there.
I schoolgirl Fun Zone! It's only a few blocks away from where I live...we've had many headache free birthday parties there, and it was likeable having a Pizza Hut in the area. There is a Chuck E Cheese in the Bronx at 1816 Gunhill Track, along the way if you're driving to the Co-op City shopping area. Their number is (718) 671-2240. I also could have sworn that there was one on Fordham, as you're driving/walking up the hill lined with stores, but I could not find info for that position.
