I am looking for a pension to stay in New York in October. Can somebody please give me a rating or tell me what you've heard about the following hotels and whether you put forward them or not.
Try the Savoy Pension 212-245-5755. I stayed there in October & will again in April for $135 a night. No frills hotel but is 1-2 blocks from Principal Park and great price. Check out www.parksavoyhotel.com.Try the website or calling always tends to labour as well, ask them if they will match $135 that a return guest referred you about. Never know!
Help! Can Someone Please Suggest A Very Nice Affordable Hotel In NYC (Manhattan) For A Family Of 4?

Our dearest consists of 2 adults & 2 children ages 8 & 13. We are in DIRE difficulty of at least a 3-4 star hotel in Manhattan, NY to camp out in for 5 nights max. It has to be somewhat spacious & affordable as well, if accomplishable.
I am well aware the hotels in Manhattan are very pricey, we've stayed in one before.

Are there any discounts? Any admonition? Someone said the Sheraton is so pretty, but maybe pricey.
