I am accepted to be visiting New York, specfically Manhattan and I am always seeing makeup artists and celebrity people on TV that talk about alarming places to get good deals on makeup, beauty products etc, that are like drugstores but way advance.Think non-warehouse open to the public places. Also,l I have seen Mally Roncal and Charlie Verdant talk about places like it (?) Something we definitely do not have in Sacramento, CA. Thanks for your help and warning.
Princess... very recently wash your face, let the make-up run down the drain... if you are as beautiful as "all that"... you don't miss any make-up...just let your inner-glow, knock'um'out.......

Like where are their supermarkets at?
And what supermarkets are there in Manhattan?
Associated (or called Morton Williams, depending upon your neighborhood; they're EVERYWHERE!)
Subsistence Emporium
Gristedes
Whole Foods (Columbus Circle and I believe there may be one at Union Square)
Distributor Joe's (I believe there's one at Union Square)
When Shopping From The People Who Sell Stuff On The Sidewalks Of Manhattan New York, How Would You Judge It?
Dec 25, 2006 by rena | Posted in New York City
How would you guys adjudicate the quality of the stuff that is sold on the sidewalks of Manhattan New York? (the people who sell like cashmere scarves, bags, sweatshirts, shirts, etc) I recently bought a sweatshrit that says "NYC" on it for 15 bucks from one of those places, but i am not satisfied if the quality is good or not. 15 bucks was the cheapest ic ould find but other places were much more expensive.
It unqualifiedly depends on your taste. Most of the things are trendy items, like "designer" sunglasses and bags, "cashmere" scarves, etc. If you are buying things for occasional use, the city is great for accessories like jewelry and handbags. If you're going for good importance (both in appearance and performance), street vendors are not the place to go. There are plenty of middle-priced stores in NYC (H&M, Forever21, the Gap, etc) to go to get things like that. If you are looking for basics like sweatshirts and t-shirts, there is predominantly nothing wrong with buying from vendors. A cotton blend hoodie is a cotton blend hoodie. The mark will probably not be as high as it would be in established stores, but the clothing will serve its purpose. In fact, it is quite wiser to buy basics cheaply, because otherwise the quality will not be worth the higher price at more expensive places. Lawful be sure to look for holes, stains, etc, as always.
What Is A Fun, Hip Hotel In Manhattan, New York To Stay Near Central Park And Shopping?

Well a exceedingly cool hotel is "The W" there are three in Manhattan. Times Square "W" is closest to leading park. Check out the link below. It is not cheap, but it is really hip and modern. I don't know if you are familiar with the "W" hotels, but they are upscale hotels that are part of the Sheretons and the "W" stands for "Whatever...Whenever"
In a few weeks my kinfolk and I are staying in New York for a day or two, i was wondering what kind of places we should go while we're there, and what are good places to go shopping, but not really expensive. keep in brain we've never been to new york before and don't know our way around
I spirited in NYC and trust me when I say stick to 34th St. The street has tons of stores to choose from, including Macy's (largest trust in in the world) and prices will be a lot more reasonable than 5th Ave. / Times Square area. DON'T spend most of your take on 5th Ave/Madison/Lexington seriously those are high end stores that will be asking for a pretty penny. Times Quadrilateral is mainly tourists, so prices are going to be way jacked up as a result.
I personally recommend H&M on 34th St. There are tons of subtle looking clothes to choose from at very reasonable prices, plus there are two of them on 34th St.
EDIT: Manhattan Mall is a sketch of sh1t. ANY New Yorker will tell you that.
