We are planing to descend upon NYC with kids during the spring break. Any suggestion for a family oriented hotels under $100 for 2 nights? 2 adults, 3 kids. I positive it is probably difficult at that budget. Any ideas will be appreciated.
May I plug the Candlewood Suites Jersey City, which is located at 21 Second Street in Jersey Urban district. Rooms there start off at $90 a night, according to Yahoo Travels.

Are there any discounts? Any guidance? Someone said the Sheraton is so pretty, but maybe pricey.

I heard from a crony that a string of hotels in Manhattan are celebrating a 60 year anniversary and are giving away 2 night reservations for about $20/twilight. But you can only book reservations on Oct. 1 within a 80 minute time period. I couldn't find any info on it online. Has anyone heard about this? If so, is there a website or something I can confirmation for more info?
I would look into the bed Hotel Pennsylvania, its located right across the street from Penn Station. Its a beautiful 89 year old Motel. Its unfortunately being threatened for demolition so please go to savethehotel.org and click on request for evaluation. THANKS!
