Any Suggestions To Increase Business In Hotel Restaurant?

I'm an collaborator manager at a 300 room hotel located in Manhattan's east side. We have one restaurant and we are making an average of $900 a twilight and most nights the place is dead. Any suggestions on ways of increasing business?
People go where there is profound food with great music and a great atmosphere. Maybe consider changing your menu and pricing or both and changing the descriptions of each entree. Peradventure consider a buffet or a mini-buffet on certain nights. Not knowing your hotel class, or community very well nor your budget, think hiring a DJ, or an aspiring young band, or a karaoke night may liven up the place, perchance an aspiring comedian, or a magician for a family night. Have theme nights with some sort of amusement. If you can't afford the cost to hire entertainment consider a cover charge and make unfaltering you advertise well and a lot for maximum exposure. Make sure the decor is up-to-date and there are no old musty smells in your dining space, if so, rent an Ozone machine and zap the odors. Most people congregate where it's fun and exciting, but if the food and pricing isn't accomplished then sales decline. You can have great food but the atmosphere is awful, or You can have great atmosphere but the viands is awful, or You can have great food & great atmosphere and it's boring; and a restaurant without all of these combinations will not do well. Perchance consider a business consultant coming in and revamping your target market. Good luck!

I about to Manhattan frequently on business. I am writing this from a largely misrepresented B & B in West Harlem. I need to find lodging, in a agreeable part of town, that is clean, comfortable, safe and reasonably priced. Any suggestions?
A attractive, clean, comfortable hotel in a safe part of Manhattan now starts around $300. When you go lower than that, you start to get into bad things. When you go downgrade than $200, you really get bad.
My suggestion would be to look at Jersey City and take the ferry to Manhattan or Secaucus ane take the bus.

I require to find a hotel with kitchen facilities for a business traveller in Manhattan and I can't find any! I'm looking for something like citadines, which we have in Europe.

where I do not texture safe or comfortable? If my job requires that I travel to Manhattan, should they have budgeted enough to cover me staying in reasonable hotels?
Naturally! They shouldn't expect you to stay in flea bag hotels that among other things aren't safe!
What's The Best Way To Get To Manhattan, NY From New Haven, CT?

Hello,
I have a also pen-friend who has to go to New Haven, CT for work and I'm thinking of tagging along for the free hotel. If I do go, I will more than likely be spending most of my time in Manhattan for my own business purposes. I grasp there are several trains to take to the big city, but I'm curious the best train/route to get to and from Manhattan the quickest every day.
I really appeciate the servants!
Take Metro-North into Outstanding Central. From New Haven (I live just outside New Haven) it's the ONLY train. From there you can take the subway or a drive, depending on where you want to go in Manhattan. This is hands-down the most relaxing way. To make it even more relaxing, take the bar car back (lol).
If you drive, take I-95. Where you get off will depend on where you have a yen for to go. Use Mapquest. Try to avoid leaving between 6-9am and avoid returning 3-7 pm. I-95 at bottom isn't bad during non-rush hours.
