Does Anyone Know Of A Very Nice Hotel Or Bed & Breakfast In Manhattan For Under $200/night?

I hang around to Manhattan frequently on business. I am writing this from a largely misrepresented B & B in West Harlem. I need to find lodging, in a integrity part of town, that is clean, comfortable, safe and reasonably priced. Any suggestions?
A unerring, clean, comfortable hotel in a safe part of Manhattan now starts around $300. When you go lower than that, you start to get into bad things. When you go soften than $200, you really get bad.
My suggestion would be to look at Jersey City and take the ferry to Manhattan or Secaucus ane take the bus.

I'm looking for a Bed and Breakfast in Manhattan or Queens (dialect mayhap Brooklyn if the price is right) that allows you to reserve just 1 night on a weekend.
I explosive in NYC but so far can't find a one nighter under $200 for any day of the week let alone a weekend, anybody know of any?

I have an anniversary coming up. This skirt is special, and she loves horses. I can't think of anything better than to take her on a nice ride on a scenic track, with a stay in a Bed & Breakfast after.
Any suggestions from the equestrially wise? We have never rode before, so we'd need a guide/instructor.
I busy in Manhattan, and can rent a zipcar to drive into Jersey or any of the outer boroughs. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I'm alluring my GF to NYC in a couple of weeks, I'm looking for a nice place to stay, I was thinking of reserving those aparments that people rental, is anyone here familiar with one that they can recommend? I was looking at hotels but someone refered me to bed and breakfast and vacation rentals...
There are Inn Suites that are really nice, I recommend Hotel Beacon on 75th Street, Broadway, it is a very delightfully place that I enjoyed staying at.

I can't idol out what career/job to do for the life of me. I have a list of likes and dislikes from all the jobs I've had in the past, which include: Snowboard Docent, Waiter, Grocery Store Clerk, Dorm Supervisor, NASA Research Asst, C++ Programmer, Java Programmer, Global Sales (Europe), Mate on a Megayacht, Owner of 17 Person Software Enterprise in Manhattan, Owner/Worker @ Bed and Breakfast.
I live by the ocean (Atlantic) and I'm not willing to move inland I have a BS in Physics. Does anyone have knowledge of, given the following list, what career might be best?
Likes: Marketing, Inventing/Creating, Skilfulness, Flexible Schedule, Varied Tasks, Balance of Computer and Real Life, Solving Problems, Bananas Challenge, Learning, Nice Scenery/Air, Being Me (not fake), Working Close to Home, Doing Deviant Things
Dislikes: Dealing Heavily With People, Commuting, Structure, Collections, Schedules, Worrying About Employees, Contest, Dressing Up, Acting Fake
I should add that I can start small, non-capital intensive businesses too... not merely work for others.

You unimpaired like an introvert. With a degree in Physics, have you considered consulting as a profession? Flexible hours, pick and opt the jobs you want to take, no "boss" to answer to so you can be yourself without having to toe the company solidus. You may have to travel occasionally to meet with a client. WIth all your listed skills, creating your own website to advertise your skills isn't a span. Also, there's no need to limit yourself to one area of expertise, and there are companies out there that act as "agents" for freelancers. Suitable Luck!
