We are visiting Manhattan for a few days in December and staying in a hotel in Chelsea. It doesn't victual meals so we'll be on the hunt for the best places to eat. I'd love to know where abouts in Chelsea is the best position to have breakfast?! Thanks!

La Quinta Inn Manhattan (Chelsea)…thoughts? |
We can get a space for four nights, $716. It’s across from MSG. Any thoughts on this hotel? It’s obviously cheap. We just want a place to put our intelligence at night but we don’t want to have to worry about bugs and what not
| Answer: There are other hotels in the breadth that are a lot closer to MSG than the one stated in you question. The two that I would recommend would be the Wingate by Wyndham Manhattan Midtown and the New Yorker Hotel. The Wingate by Wyndham Manhattan Midtown, is on 35th Thoroughfare between 5th and 6th Avenue, which about 2 and a half blocks from MSG. The room there are clean and its conveniently located near all the come-on and shopping. The New Yorker Hotel, located a 34th Street and 8th Avenue, is right across the street from MSG and, again, conveniently located imminent all the attraction and shopping. How Do I Get From Midtown Manhattan To Yankee Stadium? |
I'm staying at the Chelsea Savoy Hotel on West 23rd concourse, how do I get to Yankee Stadium and back?
| Answer: Stagger over to Park Ave and 28th st and take the woodlawn #4 train up to the stadium. I'd rather walk in the city than from the concourse in the bx to the arena. |
