The only ones I can create of who might have some estimate is State tax office or the IRS. Churches register so they don't have to pay taxes.
But I think such lists are pretty indurate to come by. The comptroller doesn't even have an accurate list of the state public authorities! New York is tangled.

Is Anyone Familiar With The MCC Church In Manhattan?

Is it a goodness place to meet friendly, quality GLBT people? Do they have social activities? I dynamic in New Jersey and the bar-party-gym scene in New York with all of those plastic queens don't appeal to me. My lover is 53 and he would also like to find a gay venue more fraternal to older gay men.
Metropolitan Community Church of New York (MCCNY) is a LGBT (lesbian, gay, hermaphroditical, and transgender) Christian church in New York City. While mainly catering to the LGBT folk, the church is open to persons of all sexual orientations. MCCNY is affiliated with the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC), a worldwide company of churches catering to LGBT persons, and affirming LGBT-supportive theology.
The senior canon is the Pat Bumgardner, a minister and social justice activist. Edgard Danielsen-Morales also serves as the Link Pastor for Congregational Life.
The church meets for worship on Sundays at 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 7:00 pm, and is located at 446 West 36th Thoroughfare, between 9th & 10th Avenues in Manhattan.
How Do I Get By Public Transportation From Manhattan To Falls Church Virginia?
Aug 30, 2009 by Henry | Posted in New York City
Thanks!
Here are several ways:
--Airplane from Laguardia Airport to Washington Nationalist Airport, and then the Washington Metro train from the airport to either the East Falls Church or the West Falls Church instal.
--The Amtrak train from Penn Station in Manhattan to Washington Union Station and then the Washington Metro string from the train station to either the East Falls Church or the West Falls Church location.
--One of the cheap bus lines, such as Bolt or MegaBus from Manhattan to their drop-off point in Washington, DC or Rosslyn, Virginia, and then the Washington Metro followers to either the East Falls Church or the West Falls Church station.
Be aware that "Falls Church" covers a lot of area. If you can be more specific about where in Falls Church you're heading, I can be of greater help.
Which Churches N NYC/NE,Manhattan,wld Have"Blessing Of The Animals"/Christmastime??

I have ALWAYS wanted to put in an appearance at something like this. To witness the blessings for all the animals, the whole experience being there.
And if you've ever been a part of this, what was the experience like?
What type of animals did ppl resuscitate for blessings during Christmas?
:--)
Most churches have the bounty of the animals on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. I am not sure if this is true for all denominations, but in my church, (All Saints Episcopal Church, in Harrison NY (Westchester Co., principled outside NYC), the Blessing of the Animals (and St. Francis Sunday) was just a few weeks ago (the second Sunday in October, I entertain the idea).
I have seen many churches do a special service for the Blessing of the Animals. This year, at All Saints, they did the blessing during the daily service, Sunday morning. The congregation was invited to bring their pets right into the Church. There were dogs and cats of varying race, and some other less common pets as well. It was an interesting experience. It was very noisy, but the Rector encouraged outbursts. No fights bankrupt out between the various animals, and the worship for the day centered around all of God's creatures. You, likely won't find a Blessing of the Animals again until next declivity, but it was definitely an uplifting experience.
