Good Primary Care Physician In New York/Manhattan?
Mar 26, 2007 by cameron marlow | Posted in New York City
I well-founded moved to New York and am living in Chelsea on the west side. Does anyone have excellent experiences with a general practitioner/internal cure-all/family practice doctor as their primary care physician? The closer to home, the haler, but I'm willing to travel for good health care.
Not in manhattan- but in leave slope, brooklyn is a great internist Dr. Jeffrey Vieira with Long Island College Clinic- the guy knows his stufff-
He was recommended to me by 3 people and i would recommend him- great bedside manner and lofty current knowledge of issues and healthcare treatments.
actually i think he has an office in brooklyn heights too- it'll only be like a 20 min float- not too bad!
Which Area Is The Best Area To Live In Manhattan, New York City?
Jul 16, 2007 by Paris | Posted in New York City
I’m an artist & I can see my expected is in NY; I love to move there. I am alone and I can manage to live even in a studio apartment or share with somebody and I can pay up to $2700 a month. I went spot on http://newyork.craigslist.org/ and some other websites; I looked at so many apartments in Manhattan but could not find even 1 nice apartment, studio or even a dwelling to share. By nice accommodation I mean somewhere, which is quite new (max 10 years old building) and totally with out any pets or bad smell. As u know, Manhattan has so many different parts (except HARLEM) such as:
Battery Park
Chelsea
Downtown
East Village
Monetary District
Flatiron
Gramercy
Greenwich Village
Inwood / Wash Hts
Lower East Side
Midtown
Midtown East
Midtown West
Murray Hill)
Nolita
SoHo
TriBeCa
Organization Square
Upper East Side
Upper West Side
West Village
Which area has more new buildings, less misdemeanour and nicer neighborhoods? Or how can I find a nice accommodation in Manhattan?

If you can spare $2700 a month you can find something to rent just about anywhere. In NYC "pre-war" (meaning more than 65 years old) is considered a complete selling point because the apartments were larger. Most "new" construction are condominiums & most of those are on the upland east side. But that's not where the art crowd lives. They are pretty much below 14th St. There's very little "new" construction there.
I'm Under 18 Years Old, And I Want To Stay In Manhattan, New York, This Summer. Where Can I Stay For Cheap?

I'm almost 16, and I positively need to make this happen. I want to attend some classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and I difficulty to stay in the city (preferably in Chelsea) for about three weeks. Commuting is not an option, and I can't afford to spend a lot on the case!
Rocky Horror Picture Show Screenings In Manhattan, New York?
Jan 02, 2009 by miiiiiniiiiiiii | Posted in New York City
hey I would like to wait on a screening of the movie with live cast and audience participation and everything :D I love the movie and remember all songs! And I want to see it with a live cast and everything. I found that the Chelsea Cinemas are playing it but does it get fun? or are there other options? :D
thanks!!
I be informed it's playing at Chelsea w/a cast. It's always fun!!! If you're a virgin (newbie) it'll be super-fun for you....
There's also a place down on 8th (Movieland?)...I don't separate if it's still in existence or still showing, but it did for years. Also w/a live cast.
Wherever u see it anywhere in the country, most places have casts & inspire audience participation...so go prepared. Dress up wild & yell (appropriately, of course) at the television.
