We are visiting Manhattan for a few days in December and staying in a hotel in Chelsea. It doesn't lay down meals so we'll be on the hunt for the best places to eat. I'd love to know where abouts in Chelsea is the best misplaced humble to have breakfast?! Thanks!

Answer: Mercury Bar (34th and 3rd), unforunatley it is crosstown. Otherwise, Mores Out on the upper west side.

La Quinta Inn Manhattan (Chelsea)…thoughts?

We can get a flat for four nights, $716. It’s across from MSG. Any thoughts on this hotel? It’s obviously cheap. We just want a place to put our leading position at night but we don’t want to have to worry about bugs and what not

Answer: There are other hotels in the range that are a lot closer to MSG than the one stated in you question. The two that I would recommend would be the Wingate by Wyndham Manhattan Midtown and the New Yorker Hotel.

The Wingate by Wyndham Manhattan Midtown, is on 35th Road between 5th and 6th Avenue, which about 2 and a half blocks from MSG. The room there are clean and its conveniently located near all the show and shopping.

The New Yorker Hotel, located a 34th Street and 8th Avenue, is right across the street from MSG and, again, conveniently located looming all the attraction and shopping.
