Sarabeth's, one on the eastside, 90th st, westside in the 80's. Good for kids or without.
French Remembrances-85th street, probably better without kids, can be a bit crowded, but all good places will be.
probably my favorite, in Soho - The Cupping Reside, is ok for kids, but ok, alone.
America-15th Street off of 5th ave
The Coffee Shop- around Union Square, can't remember the apply oneself to
Barking Dog - there are 3 of them, 2 upper eastside, one in midtown.
