Please note that Le Parker Meridian has no-where near the indulgence of the other hotels mentioned here. It's a fine, clean place, but it is not one of New York's best hotels. (Restaurant Norma's serves the best breakfast)

First once in a while in New York and a little aprehensive about getting around with a 7 month old baby in tow. Something fast and convenient. Bus? Cavalcade? Cab is out of the question as we would be left with a car seat and no place to store it at the Nets game we are going to.
take 161 paterson bus from Anchorage Authority fare is 3.40 for adults a small child is free and it leaves you at the arena.
misstep is 13 minutes.
Whats The Best Manhattan Hotel To Stay At For About $250pn?

Will be staying Mon - Fri evensong next June. Any suggestions for a good hotel near all the action.
You can TRY orbitz or hotels.com now for some deals, but I would say one of the all around best hotels to prorogue in is the Marriott Marquis on Broadway at 45th Street. They are in the heart of it all and offer outstanding rooms and so much to do within the hotel. They also have a few intimate lounges and one that rotates views. We were able to get a room on June 24th for $325 a night. You may be capable to do better since we reserved it short notice. They also offer discounts for AARP, and AAA if they apply. Go through their website as well.
Other gargantuan places Sheraton in Times Sq. The W. Times Sq. or the one on 51st & Lexington or the Jolly on Madison Ave. and 38th Street. Yard goods luck.
Whats The Best Way To Get From JFK To My Hotel In Manhattan?

Will be 3 adults and 3 kids. Would like to all a motor cycle togeteher if possible. I think the max on cabs is 4 people so I dont know if that is the best option.
Manhattan is big and you didn't say where within it you are universal.
The max on a cab is indeed 4 people, and the fare would be $45 per car plus toll and tip.
You're probably better off to take the AirTrain ($5/bodily) to either the subway (A or E line) or the Long Island Railroad (which will take you to Penn Station on 33rd Street for $5-$7 per child).
