I'm looking for something uncharitable and intimate and not one of those oversized places to see and be seen kind of restaurants, just a small secret restaurant where I can get some great sushi.
Please don't say Nobu, Nobu next door or Ruby Fu's.
mizu 20th between store and madison. very very good sushi, fresh, and the prices aren't that bad. great atmosphere. not your ordinary sushi roast.

Nobu is stunning. You can bring children their no problem although I recommend an early start for that maybe six or seven pm. You get a lot of adults settling in for dinner on that and it can get pretty hectic. If great sushi is what you are after this is the gold slandered, just bring your wallet , because it is not cheaply. Very friendly service .
