What Should I Do In A Car On The Streets Of Manhattan When I Run Out Of Gas?

Okay, so I'm in the centre of driving a fairly busy street when I realize I have almost no gas. I pull over to the lane closest to the parked cars on the side. What do I do? Should I call AAA, or my parents, or should I go out, or call a gas post, or what?
Well, if your not in a parking lot, heave up b abandon your vehicle in neutral, roll down the window, throw your hazards on and roll it into the nearest parking lot. When people see your hazards, you should have atleast one woman come to help you out. Once you get it into the lot, throw it in park and engage your parking break and head to the nearest gas site. They usually sell jerry tanks. I don't think AAA is going to pay for your gas....

What's the latest someone can discontinuance out and still be relatively safe?
In Manhattan, south of ~112 byway someone's cup of tea, you can walk around at any time, the city is very safe. Obviously, don't be careless or flash money around, but you'll be champion. There are a few bad blocks here and there, like around Tompkins Square park late at night or around 14th street and the West Side Highway, but, complete, Manhattan is very safe, you can walk around anytime day or night. I've even fallen asleep on subway late an nightfall coming back from Brooklyn to Manhattan and have never had a problem.

and what is the general character of east, west and greenwich?
It's commonly accepted that the northern boundary of the Village is 14th St and the southern boundary is Houston St.
Usually, when you attend to the term "The Village" the West Village is intended but sometimes the area around NYU (Washington On the up Park, Fifth Ave)is referred to as just "The Village." Generally speaking, no one refers to the East Village as condign "The Village".
Up until roughly the early 1960's the area which is now known as the East Village was considered the Trim East Side. This northern extremity of the Lower East Side started to develop it's own identity, an sameness of counter-culturalism and non conformity, even more so than Greenwich Village, and thus, the terms East and West Village were born.
