Interesting Unique Hotels In Manhattan (Like The Rivington)?

I july 2008 I stayed at the Rivington Lodging in manhattans lower east side. I had a corner room - it was fantastic.
Im visiting again in March this year - can anyone else insinuate a cool hotel that they've stay at.. anywhere in manhattan.. just small.. boutique feel.. interesting and a yes, a bit weird please!!

possibly i'm to far down, how about 32nd and 8th, small flower shop on 8th, rooms,or inn ,hotel on 32nd behind flower shop.
Try the Library Lodging - small, very nice boutique hotel (on 41st though) and you can't get much closer to NY library:

What's The Name Of The Cube-like Hotel Rooms That Are Now In Manhattan?

What are the small cube-like motel rooms called that are now available in Manhattan and are everywhere in Japan? They are very reasonably priced. Does anyone know where the control superiors ones of these New York City ones are located. I am looking for such a place in lower Manhattan. Thanks!

I'm planning a junket to NYC with 1 friend in april and would like your best inexpensive Manhattan hotel. We're 2 savvy ladies, early 30's and outgrown nightclubs but we likes the cooling bar scene & salsa dancing. Amenities we like: excellent customer service, non-toxic, clean, and not too small, and modern decor preferred. If close to salsa club a + (take oneself to be sympathize free to shoot me any of your salsa club recommendations too ;o)). This would be our 2nd trip to NYC.
manhattan and budget-priced dont go too well together in the same sentence. i too am ealy 30 and have been three times already. We liked the sheraton at times balanced--right between times square and central park, another time we stayed at a radisson hostelry bout two blocks west of rockefeller center--VERY VERY BAD! if u get the sheraton early enough the better amount try to fly in la guardia NOT JFK, save you 25 bucks right there on taxi ride!!
I am looking for a fingers on for a wedding ceremony and good food in Queens or Brooklyn NY. We will only have about 30 to 40 guests. I am looking for a motel, restaurant, or even a nice outdoor or historic location to get married and have a small dinner. Even something outdoors or attached water would be nice. Or even a place with a view of the Manhattan skyline. Any ideas?
