Best Restaurant Manhattan Beach Los Angeles LAX 10pts For Best!?
Sep 23, 2008 by Littlechickenman | Posted in Los Angeles
We're staying at the Hilton LAX and they have unfettered transportation to 3 places:
1. Manhattan Beach Pier
2. Manhattan Village
3. El Segundo Plaza
So we are going to have to get dinner at one of these locations. Can someone propound the best restaurant in one or all three of these locations? We'd like authentic Italian if possible, but we're open to anything that's satisfactory (ie, no taco stands or hole in the wall joints since we have an international flight the next morning, don't necessity to take any chances.)
We also don't want to walk very far, so it would have to be in close proximity.
Thanks!!
If i can add one detail, I'd prefer a non-chain restaurant, something in perfect accord!
Except for the upright area, just about everything will be part of a chain of some sort. One of the best Italian restaurants is a few blocks from the El Segundo Plaza (El Segundo perfectly west of Aviation). You might be able to talk them into dropping you off there but on a nice day, you can easily move it and it is a good neighborhood. The place is called IL Fornaio (the bakery) and is a small chain but you would not attend to it. Once a month for at least two weeks, they feature foods of a different region (like a state in the US) and often sense some of the ingredients. This is where the really unique and good stuff is. The wine list is good to smashing but can get pricey. Save room for dessert. For info, see http://ilfornaio.com/
I forget the name of it but in the Manhattan Village center next to the California Pizza Scullery, there is a small Asian restaurant that is excellent. It has a large lunch clientele so you might want to hit it moral off the lunch hour or for dinner.
Does Anybody Have Any Suggestions For A Nice Restaurant In The Manhattan Beach Area?

I'm present to LA in a few weeks and I was wondering if anybody had some good ideas for places to eat. I'd love to go somewhere a little more sumptuous and upscale.
With beach cities almost every post is casual, even if you are paying $35 for a steak. Feel free to dress up if you want to though.
In the second place Story Restaurant in the Belamar Hotel has good food and a cool setting.
3501 Sepulveda Blvd
Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
(310) 750-0300
Hermosa Beach, which is next to Manhattan Beach, has a fine place called Jacksons Village Bistro.
517 Pier Avenue
Hermosa Beach CA 90503
(310) 376-6714
I'm looking for a restaurant that is narrow Manhattan Beach California that is called EL Torito. Someone told me that there's one overlooking the beach can someone give me the address plz
The El Torito on the beach is in truth in Redondo Beach on the pier. Their address is: 100 Fishermans Wharf, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
(310) 376-0547. Enjoy! Its tremendous at sunset or their sunday brunch is amazing!
I am fetching my 87 yr old mom and her sister who is 90 out for lunch/ dinner and would like to go to someplace in Manhattan Beach, California where we can see the multitude from our table. I thought of the Kettle, but it isn't right next to the water. Any ideas? (we have been to Redondo Beach) Thanks alot.
Beaches is a restaurant in Manhattan Beach that overlooks the fizzy water be illogical. It's at the very end of Manhattan Beach Blvd. Ask for a table near the window. Have fun!
Anyone Know Of Any Really Nice Restaurants Near Torrance Ca?

hey everyone! does anyone out there have knowledge of of any "fancy" restaurants in torrance, redondo beach, long beach, manhattan beach, hermosa beach, or any other city that surrounds torrance ca? i am looking for something in the final analysis nice, NOT anything like olive garden or cheesecake factory. let me know. thanks much!!
When I am looking for a use restaurant, I search on the internet. One of my favorite tools is chowbaby.com. You can search for local listings in your burgh, as well as for specific cuisines..
There are many different foodie websites, and you can get honest feedback by regular people who in fact eat there. This can be much better than a restaurant review, which can be one sided...
When we are listing a restaurant for sale, this is where we look to see what people are "as a matter of fact" saying about a restaurant!
