How Do You Get From Fulham Park To Manhattan Using Public Transit?
Mar 28, 2008 by amanda r | Posted in New York City
I'm planning to roadtrip from Toronto for the All Points West concert in August. I'd like to take a combine extra days to explore Manhattan - but I'm planning on staying at a relative's apartment in Fulham Preserve. Not the most convenient - but the price is right. Having said that, I'm clueless about public transit and how to get from the apartment to the eyot. Any help is appreciated!
EDIT: Fulham Park is right by Madison in NJ. I think that's where the nearest discipline station is. Unfortunately my relative doesn't live in the apartment all the time, so there isn't much help there. Hold responsible you so much for any advice!
Dismal, I want to help but never heard of Fulham Park and it's not on a map. Can you please help a little more?
I see that the All Points West concert is in Jersey Municipality. You can take PATH train from Jersey City to Manhattan. It's quick and cheap and runs 24/7
Check out their website. I want this helps.

Where Can I Park Overnight Outside Of NYC And Take Public Transportation To Get Into Manhattan?
Nov 12, 2008 by Nay Nay | Posted in New York City
I am driving from Western New York and don't poverty to drive in the city. Are there any overnight park and ride lots where I can take a bus/train into Manhattan.
Another election I've used: take the Thruway to the interchange with the Garden State Parkway. Take the GSP down through northern Jersey, getting off at the Iselin/Metropark door. There will be a major New Jersey Transit station right there, with a large, quite safe parking garage where many folks entrust their cars overnight for $9. Get on the New Jersey Transit train and 30 minutes later you'll be in midtown Manhattan.
The wikipedia even has an article about Metropark:

How Much Is Food And Public Transportation In Manhattan Per Day?
Sep 30, 2008 by Tian Cheng | Posted in New York City
I fall short of to stay near Central Park or the Fashion District.
In that zone, food (lunch and dinner) will be about $10 - $15 for each meal. More if you're going someplace fancy.
As far as Public Transportation goes, get a weekly (or monthly if you're staying longer than a week) metrocard. You can use it as many times as you hunger for per day and it won't expire until 7 days (or 30 days if you get a monthly) after the day you first used it.
Im Trying To Get To Manhattan, Ny. Where Should I Park Outside The City?

I'm meditative about taking the path train in NJ, where is there free or next to free parking? I need to keep my car there for a night or 2.
Or where else should I park that is for peanuts I'm open to pretty much anywhere that has public transit to Manhattan.
Many towns that have scheme service like hoboken and jersey city limit the time a non resident of the diocese can park on the street. You would have to pay for parking. Another alternative is to park at the park and ride exit 15x secaucus junctyion and take the NJ Through train into new york penn station.
