Can Anyone Recommend Some Fun Indoor Places In Manhattan To Go With A 7 Yr Old Girl.?

My niece is visiting on Sunday and it may shower, so I'm looking for a fun place to go "indoors".
FAO Schwarz on Fifth Avenue and 58th Passage (if the sun comes out, you'll only be a block from Central Park). Kids all love to visit this stead. There is "entertainment" all over. A big clock sings a welcome song when you walk in. There is a tidy robot - if you walk to the back, you find out it's really an elevator. The second floor has the huge piano that Tom Hanks danced on in "Big". There are continued shows all day with professionals dancing on the keyboard and, between the shows, you can dance there - when you step on a key, a note plays. There's a elephantine selection of dolls - you can customize them to your own taste. There's a motion simulator ride. There are classic games and children's books. There is an ice cream parlor downstairs.
Two blocks away is the Sony Lab on Madison and 56th - access is free - a few floors of interactive exhibits and games - lots of fun - when you go in, they take your picture and put it on a badge - when you cede you get a customized diploma.

I am active with my boyfriend to Manhattan on a weekday. We don't live in Manhattan and we don't go very often. What are the fanciest restaurants, clothing stores (for women), and must go sites? (scratch is not a problem.)
saks on 5th ave, conniver boutiques on madison ave , mr,chows on 59th street, bloomingdales on 59th & lexington, takoshimaya on 5th ave, taven on the grassy in central park towards 80t street, everything is mustsee
