I have scarcely bought a new car and i have had bad experiences with parking garages in Manhattan with my other car. I prefer the Theater District area, near 41st. Thanks a bracket gather!
There's one on 50th between 6th and Broadway that I always against; I haven't lived there for a while though, so it could've changed hands. It was always nice and dependable for me, though.

i stay in long island i planned to visit manhattan museums ,Time square,Central woodland ...so can any one say some low fee parking garage near manhattan
http://nyc.bestparking.com/ has a fine map of different public garages and their daily parking rates.
I'd suggest that you save yourself the hassle, and take the LIRR (Extended Island Rail Road) into the city and get a 1-Day unlimited Metrocard to take the subway or bus. Walking is also a satisfactory option in the city, too.

Buy tickets online for a knock off, and you may even get a better discount for some of the attractions you're looking for by getting a Getaway Package from the MTA: http://www.mta.info/lirr/getaways/Manhat tan/
For directions, I lead one to believe: http://www.trips123.com/

Can You Recommend A Cheap Monthly Parking Garage In Queens Or Manhattan?
Jan 07, 2007 by JustJ | Posted in Commuting
I viable in Manhattan near the N/R line. I can't afford the city's $500+ monthly parking rates. I'm looking for a berth to park my car and then hop on the train back to my apartment in the city. So ideally, I don't want to be to far in either direction of Queens or Manhattan. I must have a car for exertion purposes, so getting rid of the car is not an option. I need a covered space due to the winter snow (when it does show up) and the appointment has to be well lit and safe.
How Much Do You Have To Tip A Parking Garage Attendant In Manhattan When You Have A Monthly Parking Space?

20 to 50 at the Sabbatical season (anytime from Thanksgiving to New Years) and 10 to 20 at two other random times of the year if he really does ANYTHING more than sit there.
Tipping a new attendant 20 bucks when he hires on will ensure that he actually pays a petite bit of attention to anyone he sees near your car.
