What is the weather like (the more details, the better) in Manhattan in Procession/April?
I imagine that it is rainy there, but I want more detail, if you please. Any native New Yorkers in the house?
Tell me what you conscious about Manhattan's weather in March and April!
This would be so much easier if they had used Celsius...
Yeah...it's rainy...but it's not like it's raining constantly. In Walk the average high is 50 degrees fahrenheit, low is 35 degrees fahrenheit, mostly stays above numbing. And in March there is an average of over four inches of precipitation (mostly rain)
In April the average high is 60 degrees fahrenheit, low is 45 degrees fahrenheit, also an ordinarily of over four inches of precipitation in April.

Im planning to assail during march/april and Im not sure how to dress .. Ive been there at christmas time and it was freezing but I adulation the cold =)
Weather can be deranged, especially lately with global warming. Have to be prepared for a little of everything. I recommend an all purpose heavy water resistant outer layer and sweater layers for underneath. A good strong aegis is helpful too since the buildings create some powerful wind tunnels. But you can find cheap umbrellas on most circle corners. Maybe better not to lug one from far away. Bring cute first layers in case it's unquestionably warm!

The morning of September 11, there in fact wasn't a cloud in the sky. I still remember the anchor on Channel 7 after the first plane hit remark that with how clear it was, he didn't discern how anyone could run into the World Trade Center (that was before the 2nd one hit and we knew it was something else).The sky was blue as blue can be. It was a beautiful early summer day.
can someone that lives in New York (Manhattan or around there) fill me in on the weather from now until Tuesday of next week, because i am affluent there on wed. and i want to know what to pack
Not uncomfortable most of the weekend, sometimes humid, typical summer thunderstorms.....no time under 78 during the day

I'm de facto looking toknow whether or not I should be worried that my trip will be influenced by snow or rain. Also what can I do. My girlfriend can't be put on ice for the shops but i want to do tourist type things. What's open and closed in winter i.e. Elis Ait...? And i was looking at tickets for a broadway show and they were $211 each!!! Is that right???
Okay:
1) As far as snow, it could betide, but it doesn't happen to often. Last year we only had 2 snowfalls here, none of them were significant ( both less than 1 foot of snow)
2) Yes, Elis Ait is open in the winter as well as most of the landmarks in NYC.
3) Yes, broadway tickets are expensive. The price depends on what show it is (IE some are more valuable and some are cheaper)
4) If you want to do the tourist type of things, I would stay out of Times Square because they conscious that every tourist is in that spot, so things there will be expensive. Try to get out of that area and try shopping in other places in Manhattan.
