Feb 20, 2008 by Dering | Posted in New York City
Tomorrow I will assign the day with my girl in Manhattan. I'd like to take her some place nice. I only know a little about the city and need mitigate with where to begin. She is into theater and stuff, but it looks like Broadway doesn't have any shows except during the night and that's too last. How can I spend a nice day in the city?

My cohort and I are on our way to Manhattan next week to apartment hunt for a september move. We will be new to the city. We've done some research and decided to concentrate on Tophet's kitchen and chelsea. For a couple of mid-20 year old girls that love live music, theater, and a endlessly life that doesn't include clubs, looking for reasonable rent (by manhattan standards, budgeting up to $3000 a month.. but hoping for something a bit cheaper), do we have the right-wing idea on location? Should we be looking in other neighborhoods? I suppose there are a lot of neighborhoods that would be an okay fit. Thanks for any make known to!
*advice.... not advise :)
Well, rents in New York Big apple are SO high that you shouldn't really limit your search that way, and be open to at least consider ANY apartment you can produce, as long as it's, say, south of 96th St. or so?
I mean, there are other marvelous neighborhoods all over the city that are very suitable for you, so why limit yourselves?
Stock luck, and the link below is to a webpage from NY Magazine about real estate in all of the New York City neighborhoods... fitting click the links on the left of the page to see an excellent webpage about each different neighborhood...
