Is There A Shuttle Or Car Service I Can Use To Get From Astoria To LaGuardia Airport?
Nov 30, 2006 by shoe girl | Posted in New York City
I am in Astoria (Queens) and I am infuriating to find a shuttle or car service that will take me to LaGuardia Airport (also in Queens). I am near the airport, but I do not want to take the subway to the bus because i want to get there at 4:30 in the morning. There are not a lot of cabs on the street where I live, so I can't hail a cab like I would in Manhattan. Does anyone positive of a car/shuttle i can use that is not ridiculously expensive?? the Blue Van/Super Shuttle only picks you up in Manhattan, I believe. This was what I always used and I was discouraged to find out they don't serve Queens.
To the poster that lived in Astoria, is there a service you used that you could recommend? i looked in the phone record/yellow pages but i dont know what is legit or reputable. I want to use one that someone else has used before. i am traveling at 4:30 in the morning, so I have aegis concerns.
look up yellow pages (yahoo neighbourhood) I am very sure you will find your answer in there.
What's The Average Cost For A Cab Ride From LGA To Manhattan?

Have infatuated shuttle services before when it was just me, since it's so cheap. This time I will be someone and wondering if it would average out to be the same cost per person. Stop in Manhattan is 65th and C. Park West. Thanks.
I'd say about 40 dollars extra tolls. $45 + tolls is the flat rate from JFK to Manhattan. From LGA to 42nd and Lex, it's about 25 + tolls, and add on 5 or 6 more bucks to get to the West side.
Go with a cab, this way you can cool it in a car and not worry about buses, transfering, etc.
