The cab fare from Midtown, to Woodbury Commons will cost you roughly $120 one. The Commons is located 50 to 60 miles northwest of Midtown, Manhattan.
You can get there by bus. Both Gray Railroad and Short Line/Coach USA have direct bus service to and from the Commons for a reasonable price. Confirmation out the links below.

You can also take the train from Penn Status. Take any westbound NJ Transit train to Seacacus Junction and transfer to the Bergen-Main Rank/Port Jervis Line to Harriman. A shuttle bus will take you from the Harriman train station to the Commons.
The one way make out from NYC to Harriman via Seacacus Junction will cost you $12.25 ($24.50 round trip).

If you are cloudless with the rails, follow the MetroNorth train tips below and be sure to hold on to your rail ticket. When you get there, take the ticket to Consumer Service in the Tower Building (or Food Court) for a complimentary VIP discount coupon booklet
