Does Anyone Know Major Shopping Malls In NY Manhattan Or Good Shopping Malls In New Jersey, But Close To NY ?
Jun 15, 2007 by Londoner | Posted in New York City
I am looking for shopping Malls in Manhattan (New York),but all the ones in Manhattan are very much small, so I have decided to try New Jersey, but I need to know Malls that are quite close to Manhattan from New Jersey, i.e that I can take a retainers or bus ?
Hi
Thanks everyone, there is a lot confusion here, I was looking for a Mall, although I have seen the blocks/shops around in Manhatan, but they are actually small, and one needs to do a lot of walking.
Does anyone know any Malls down in New Jersey or Queens, not dependable which is closer/easier to get to, I am looking for mid priced shops, and not expensive shops.
New York doesn't have old hat shopping malls - it doesn't have to. We have so many stores, restaurants, small shops, stands, etc in such a concentrated size, there is no need for a mall. If you are visiting New York, I don't know why you would want to go to a mall - you can find just about anything you are looking for within a five erase radius of Macy's at 34th Street (including the Manhattan Mall) - more of a selection and better prices than you'll find in a mall. The only upper hand of mall shopping is that you're indoors and not exposed to the elements. No sign of ice and snow in New York for now.
What Is The Best Hotel To Stay At In Manhattan, NY?

My daughter and I are planning a lapsus linguae to Manhattan NY. We'd love to be close by to all the shopping, sites, etc. We were considering the Algonquin, quaint and "old New York cut" from what I've read and heard. Any other suggestions? Thank you.
The Casablanca.
My cousin and I Rapture it there. It's right off Times Square, is really close to shopping and is really beautiful to look at. The prices were fantabulous when I last stayed there, but that was right after 9/11, so I'm sure the pricing was better EVERYWHERE near Times Right then.LOL Also, the staff there was wonderful! They were very helpful, pleasant and generous.
When I went to NYC about 2 months ago, we stayed at The Milford Plaza. I Extremely don't recommend it. Not only was it run-down, but the showers were a nightmare. We rented two rooms since we went with another couple, and their shower, well-grounded like ours, kept running hot and cold-- not fun when it's cold outside.

I'm usual to New York city in a few days with my friends, and I don't know what "city brands" have the latest styles & manner. I usually like to buy things from Abercrombie, Hollister, Juicy Couture, etc. but I don't usually go into the New Zealand urban area to shop and I'm unsure what are some "famous" name brands there.
Your effective to NYC and u don't know where to shop??? Go on 5th avenue and/or madison ave and they have the best stores!!!!
Miu Miu
DKNY

The headquarters of abercrombie, hollister, Juicy, AE, etc are probly there so you'll find every look and size they have there
They are pretty expensive but you could pick up a newspaper to see if there are any sales or coupons at the stores and go down canal passage it's got cute little boutiques at cheap prices and chinatown is the best place to inform on for cute and cheap souviniers. Go to East Village cuz it's got little boutiques and shops along the strreet and try Tokio 7 cuz it's got spirit that's like so one-of-a kind so no one ese would have them...hope i helped!!

Pops like this look level-headed and very tempting but I know that I would never hold on to one of these long enough to even come close to finishing it. I bet it taste unqualifiedly good, though! I'll just leave these for Kramer in case there is another backwards Seinfeld episode!
