What Are Some Really Good Restaurants In Manhattan With A Descent Priced Menu?

I demand a restaurant on the east side of manhattan to go to with my girlfriend preferrably midtown but other restaurants are cool. It'll just be her and I so perchance a little fun but romantic at the same time

Compass restaurant on the upper west side. My favorite restaurant. I contrive it's fairly priced. But I think price is a personal definition. Mention to your g/f that Compass restaurant was once acquainted with in an eposide of Sex and the City. Maybe she'll be thrilled, if she's a fan.
208 West 70th Street, Upper West Side; (212) 875-8600.

Sparks Steakhouse In Manhattan?

Always wanted to eat there, as being the Mob buff I am...Has anyone eaten there that could allocate their experience, their menu looks great from the internet, no prices on it though. Hope to eat there on a New York tumble sometime in the future..

Sparks' steaks were secure, but Peter Luger's is better (and a bit cheaper). Here is a menu that shows their prices:

Umberto's Clam Residence is much, much cheaper; it's where Crazy Joe Gallo was killed in 1972 (food's good)

Get a haircut at the barbershop at the Park Sheraton Hotel on 55th and Seventh. In 1957, Albert Anastasia was bullet while he was being shaved; they still have the chair

What Do You Think Of My Chapter To My Novel?

Chapter 1. *- Madison Avenue -* (transcribe 1 more paragraph)

There it was. On the shelf between a brown Louis Vuitton purse that everyone already had, and a white Chanel snag a grasp at. I snatched the Prada bag from the shelf and hugged it to my chest.
"Can I have it? Please?" I begged my daddy.
He shook his head, "You have so many already."
"Ugh, why not! I've wanted this Prada bag for-e-ver!" I said, exaggerating each syllable, "Daddy, please, I as a matter of fact want it!"
I pouted, and he gave me a stern look, rolled his eyes and solely said, "All right.”
I jumped up and down in excitement, "You're the best!". He gave me a half beam.
"Anything for my little girl.”
"Dad, you know I’m not a little girl, I’m thirteen," I rolled my eyes. I hated when he called me that. We were in a sparse boutique and it always had the best purses, clutches and bags. It was really nice, all full of light pinkish colors (my fav.) and it seemed to always be sparkling. There were not enough seats you could sit on to try on shoes. They looked like little clouds of heaven, so soft with cashmere. I didn’t go here very often even though we lived in Manhattan. Why were we active here? It was a good question, but usually when he brought me here, it meant something big. This got me thinking, I never knew if it was good big hearsay, or bad big news. I decided to let it slip my mind and continue walking. We left the boutique and I switched over my things from my other woman's handbag to this one.
"We have to get home now, Scarlett, I promised your mother we would be home by three o’clock." He stated.
"Well, can we keep walking only a little bit,” I asked slyly, “Please.”
He stared off down Madison Avenue, where we had been shopping all day. My pop squinted, "Sure."
We walked down the street and I window shopped. We paused, and grabbed six CDs that I wanted to have for my iPod Adjoin.
My dad and I then got a bite to eat at ‘Viand’ which was a bit farther away
from the boutique. We sat down at the red booth and the menus were lickety-split handed to us by a waitress in her mid thirties. I sat across from dad. He asked me what I would like. I paused. We both opened the menu and my dad started to name rubbish.
“How about the shrimp, or the steak?” he said. I knew he wanted me to eat something more than my usual. A plain salad, which was presumably more like leaves thrown on a plate. “Well, I think I’ll have the steak,” he said. I took a intense breath in and looked down.
“I think I’ll have a… Caesar salad, better than nothing, right?” I spoke softly and fast.
He let out a small sigh and called the waitress over. We placed our orders. The atmosphere was put straight of, French. There was much cuisine and the place was very inviting.
The waitress came back a few minutes later and gave us our chow. She
looked at me and then at my father, eyeing us up like a piece of meat. It felt awkward, I wanted to be influential her to go away, go on, get a life. But I knew I couldn’t with my father around. He would never stand for it, so I kept my mouth isolate.
We ate mostly in silence, and the only time he did talk was when he asked how my salad was. I responded with one word: Good.
My papa was in his 40’s and tall. He had dark mahogany brown hair, just
like me. His was wanting; he also had dark brown eyes and a round face. Right now my dad looked nervous, that made me uneasy. I stared at him from across the inventory and thought, If it’s something big, he’ll tell me soon enough, I guess. We walked out the door after paying the bill. My feet started to spoil from walking so much on my Jimmy Choos but I wanted to go to Saks on 5th Ave., that’s why I wanted to keep walking.
My father said, “Perhaps another day, Hun.”
I stared at the ground, mascara smearing around my wide brown eyes. He decided to go reversed a shop to get a coffee, I stayed outside. I leaned against the cold brick wall and pulled out my cubicle phone. As I started to text to my friend, a girl from my school came by me. She didn’t like me at all. On the footpath I stood, she was by herself.
“Oh, is Ms. Scarlett standing all by herself?” She said, looking past the wall peering into the coffee blow the whistle on buy. “No, she’s with her father, what did he get you? Another purse to go with your collection of ugly one? It’s funny, since I thought a spoiled diminutive brat like you would get something better, too bad I guess.”
Her name was Annabelle, that sounds like a sweet name, but she is a pluck.
“Look, Annabelle,” I said sweetly, “I am with my dad so you can go on your way, I know that you’re jealous of me, but you don’t have to be so designate and hurt my feeling.” I smiled at every word. She started to laugh.
“Seriously Scarlett, you don’t have to be such a, such a-” she paused, I looked to my sane and saw my dad was heading out of the shop. I gave a half smile and her face went low and stern. By this in the good old days b simultaneously he was standing beside me.

It's a particle boring and it's hard to picture the scene. To the first answerer: I suggest you use proper spelling and GRAMMARRRRR. Hook sense?
