Where's The Best Place To Go Ice Skating For Free In Manhattan?

Me and my friends would like to go ice skating this month and we want to comprehend a nice place in Manhattan that's free. Hopefully close to a 2 or 5 train. Thanks :)
I create the *only* place to skate for free in Manhattan is at Bryant Park. If you need skates, you need to pay for the rentals - I judge $10, but the actual skating itself is free.

i normally butter up at playgrounds but now it's pretty cold, so anyone know about a free indoor Bball court out there in Manhattan or Queens?
I don't discern if you're allowed, but you could try to go to the basketball court in St. John's college. I really can't think of any others besides that, but it shouldn't be searching to find in the white pages or something like that.

i'm growing to have about 3 hours of free time around VESEY st. in lower manhattan. it's near city hall park and the fraternity trade center memorial. i'm wondering if there's a movie theater or a cafe? or maybe someone could hint at me which subways to get on to chinatown or any other ideas? thank youu!
Hey three hours is a skilled opening for a cisit to the South Street Seaport maritime museum. A beautiful point of view of the harbor, tall ships you can board, nice little bars and cafes... and if you pauperism one of the great views of lower manhattan, just climb up onto the Brooklyn Bridge.
If I had time to put an end to down there it would be my first choice, providing the weather is nice.
