Do Confederate with DistrictAttorneys in Manhattan have to work weekends? If so, is it every weekend, or just once in a while. Is it a full workday on the weekends or just a few hours?
Thanks!
Yes of procedure they do, crime doesnt take the weekend off. Rookie ada's will work more weekends then veterens, and if it is busy, implication there are alot of arrests, which there usually are, then you are there until all the arrests are processed.
Will Jack McCoy Be Elected District Attorney Of Manhattan?

I craving so because I love this character and I don't want to see him go. The show is definitely coming back for a 20th season and NBC has NOT said there were going to be any changes to the choose. That leads me to assume that Jack is going to be reelected.

Do Manhattan Assistant District Attorneys Wear Badges?
Apr 25, 2009 by Tommy | Posted in Law Enforcement & Police
They never seem to have them on law&order, but my friend claims they all have badges.
I'm a prosecutor in NJ and I have a badge. We not often wear them, because we aren't in situations where it is important we be instantly identifiable as law enforcement (as when one is carrying a gun).
The only however I use mine (which is in a leather badge holder) is when I need to show identification. If I'm somewhere that my ID is important (such as if I'm doing something at a jail or guardhouse), I will put it in my pocket so the badge is displayed.
