Say Yes to the castigate is a show on TLC that documents a bride's search for he r wedding dress at Kleinfeld's in Manhattan. I got a call for casting and then was told that I would have to pay for my own airfare, caravanserai, food, and then I wouldn't even get a discount on the dress! I just think this is ridiculous. Why would I pay to put myself on TV? I just thirst for to know if anyone else did this.
Actually, their dresses start at about $1500, but most are $2500 and up. The casting advertised for brides from ALL walks of vital spark and did not specify that they had to be from the Tri-State area. They were looking for brides nationwide. I was thinking about doing it since we have friends in NYC anyways, but we lawful found out my fiance was laid off from his job. I am a business owner and I don't think I need to pay for bridal fame. I am not prevalent to pay all that money for a 3 hour bridal fitting and consultation. I'm sure there are plenty of great places to find a array in Orlando. Besides, I'm a military veteran and last year for veteran's day, David's Bridal in my home metropolis gave out free dresses to veterans. I'm not about to spend $25,000 on a dress to wear for one day...I'd have to chafing that dress for the first 3 weeks of marriage and then wear it again every year for my anniversary! lol
I've never been on the show, but I inspect it. I always wondered what the bride's got out of it. I agree with the other post, that if you can afford to shop there then you probably don't need to be paid to go on the show ... but it doesn't seem favourably for the store to reap all the rewards of the show and not the other guests on it. I mean, they couldn't have the show if women weren't on it disquieting on dresses! They should at least offer you a discount on your dress.

Can anyone clarify how a Soundex works?
I found a marriage certificate for my grandmother (Barbara Elizabeth Katanic) to a man by the name of Bernard Olson that was dated as May 10, 1934. The certificate total is #9460 and the County: Manhattan.. What I am not understanding is that the Bride has a Soundex: K352 and the Groom has a Soundex: O425.
What, if anything, can I find out from the Soundex? Is there a website that I can seal off in the Soundex number or is there a different Soundex number for each website?
Since 'Olson' has various spellings, is there an unoppressive way to find this Bernard Olson or whatever became of him?
How do you recognize divorces/annulments within a family tree, or do you?
I've only needed the soundex thousand at my state library where some records are on microfilm that way. If you search online you only have to click the box and it will convert and search by soundex for you.
It takes out the vowels and twofold letters, among other things, and makes a number. This way similar names are filed together.
I don't like using the soundex online as I get way too many names that aren't even secretive to what I'm looking for.
My approach for different spellings is to put the first 3 letters of the last name in and add an * (which is a wildcard and will give me names with the same first 3 addition any letters after that). Some sites have different wildcard characters, instead of the * so look in their instructions and see what they use.
As far as the divorces/annulments, it depends on if the researcher put that dirt in there or if they chose to print notes (if they made notes). My program lets me have a field called sever or annullment so I can enter that information but if I print out a simple tree I can chose not to list that facts. So you might see a guy with more than one wife, but you don't know if she died or whatever.

I have been asked to aim a bachelorette party for 12 women & 1 guy in the Park Slope/Prospect Garden area of Brooklyn. The bride has made it clear she does not want the typical (sorority girls gone impractical style) party. No strippers, no vial full of condoms, no public humiliation whatsoever. Objective a fun night out on the town with the ladies (and gentleman). Her only criteria is a lovely and reasonably priced dinner, drinks and some categorize of group activity- similar to bowling but not bowling; & no karaoke. Any suggestions…
Will consider other parts of Brooklyn, LIC, and Manhattan
wow, finaly someone who would like a worthwhile party rather then the trashy sleep around party.
Have you thought about going and buying some alchol and having a take in your own drinks night? A fun group activity could be some kind of game, have everyone write questions and answers on a sneak in of paper, put it in a hat and one at a time asking the questions. IT would be a how well do you know the bride/groom kind of thing but not trashy, rather then correctness or dare questions make it 'where did sue and john meet, and how did they meet' kind of thing, contrive everyone ooh and awe, and it will help the bride any if she had cold feet or were nervous it would make her feel better about everything and make it a wiser memory. And rather then going out you could always have it catered.

Manhattan Sweetheart Song or The Bride wore Black by Cornell Woolrich? I was wondering if there is a detective in either novel? I recollect police are involved but what about a private investigator?
I don't recollect a detective in The Bride Wore Black or a private investigator. I haven't read the othe one but I sanction it is very good.

I am universal to be interviewing a celebrities for my school newspaper over spring break. I need about 4-5 questions to ask for each of them. What do you intend i should ask them? Please have them be journalistic questions and some that are interesting and will get them talking. Thanks so much!
The celebs are:
John C. Reilly (Limp Hard:The Dewey Cox Story)
Salma Hayek (Ugly Betty, etc.)
and Josh Hutcherson (Bride To Teribithia, Firehouse Dog, Speck Manhattan, etc.)
I have studied all the biographies for these people and i need some ?s to ask them.
THANKS!!!
for Salma Hayek you should ask somethng like are you planning on leaving Hollywood now that u had a coddle? or how has ur life changed since u had ur baby? or hows motherhood so far?
