Does Anyone Know Any Good Restaurants In Manhattan That Serve Kosher For Passover Food This Week? |
I keep kosher for passover and I'm looking for someplace I can go to get something to eat in the big apple tomorrow.
| Answer: In Manhattan; though not liable; list Above is two years old. Slimly possible in Crown Heights where there are very large populations of Jewish people. Nearing universally; however, kosher restaurants everywhere close their operations during Passover. Grocery stores however open for the Chol HaMoed ("halfway days") Why??? Because it extremely uneconomically feasible for restaurants to clean from and discard non-kosher for passover foods and to goats & prepare "kosher for passover" foods primarily useful only on Chol HaMoed ("halfway days") which is never more than 5 days or 4 days [outside State of Israel]. |
