The last term i went new york this my family and i asked the cab driver what is the best italian restaurant in manhattan. He told us this place called manga y bebe. We went there and tried it and it was the worse italian eatables i have ever tried in my life!!!! I took two bites and told the waiter to take it back. So I plan to go back to nyc next jump so can anyone please suggest a good italian restaurant?

im 19 dressed apathetic, and I don't want to go to anywhere fancy and where u have to wear a tie..where could I eat great "authentic" italian food without having to sit in the central of a diner? NO CARMINES

Try this occur Dell'Annima instead - it's in the West Village which is a cool neighborhood with lots of unsophisticated people. It's not as crazy packed or overpriced as Batali's restaurants either and there's lots of bar space and an gaping kitchen - so it's easy to get a seat and good for solo diners. They recently opened so it's under the radar but the newswomen has been good and I've been there at least three times in the past two months - absolutely delicious. Get the Bolognese or Chicken Diavolo.
