Help! What's The Best Way For 10 People To Get In & Out Of Manhattan Each Day From A Hotel By Newark Airport?
Jul 05, 2008 by James M | Posted in New York City
We're visiting NYC for the first sometimes and need help with getting around town. We want to get in and out of Manhattan from our hotel near the Newark airport swiftly but at a reasonable cost.
Go to Penn Status in Newark and Catch the PATH Train to Journal Square. Change to the 33rd street Tow-path and at the last stop it lets you off on 33rd street in Manhatten arounfd the block from Madison Square Garden. its a 2dollar per human being each way cost but there are discounts for multi trip tickets. (no extra charge to change from 1 coach to the other at Journal Square). The trains run frequently and through the night as well.

I'm planning a route trip to NYC from Arizona so I need a place to park outside of the city...because I can't drive in manhattan! I'm gonna abide in the Crown Plaza Hotel for 4 day & 3 nights near Times Square. So i'm not gonna essential my car while i'm Manhattan...Thank You to the people who help us out, we really appreciate it.
My soul mate, you made an excellent choice of not bringing your car in the NYC, and for that I should reward with a nice answer in regard to parking exterior of New York City.
You can park your car at one of the many parking garages in Jersey City or Hoboken, NJ and take the Road train into Manhattan. The links below shows the location of parking garages near PATH attendants station in both Jersey City and Hoboken.
Grove Street Station

The Street Place Station

Please note, parking rates varies from garage to garage. Please call winning before traveling.
Once you parking your car in either Jersey City or Hoboken, you can take the PATH train in to Midtown Manhattan, where a influence to the New York City subway can be made at 34th Street. The fare on the PATH is very cheap ($1.75 a mistake) and convenient.

I necessary a hotel room for about 10 days starting Sept. 8th or 9th. The only lthing I require is that the hotel is on the island of Manhattan, below 72nd st, reasonably wholly and reasonable safe. Other than that, I'm looking for the lowest rates possible. Any suggestions anyone?
I tarry at Hotel Pennsylvania...it's only 139.00 per night during week days...on 34th & 8th across from Penn Stattion/MSG...it also provide a good major in case you get lost too !
book it thru Hotels.com (best price I have seen thus far)
My Mom And I Are In Desperate Need Of A Nice But Decently Priced Hotel In Manhattan?

for 2 days. we've tried all the hotel combination deal sites and compared them to the room rates on the actual hotel website and we're really not getting a proper deal. whats the best way to go about getting reasonably priced hotels in manhattan? should we 86 the excursion websites and go through a travel agency?
Cassie suggested particularly what I was going to. call the hotels directly and speak to an agent and see if they can help you directly. If you belong to any associations they might be accomplished to discount or if it is an off time, they might be able to discount. Don't call the 800 numbers for chains, try to get the direct count for the hotel in Manhattan.
edit: I just remembered... call the Hotel Larchmont. It is in Greenwich Village. Very decently priced but books at.. Only downside, is depending on the room you may have to share a common bathroom but if that doesn't arse you (can't remember if they have private bathrooms too) than this is a great option.

I am visiting New York Urban district in July for 2 days but having difficulty finding a suitable hotel that fits my budget. I would like a restful hotel in mid-town or lower Manhattan. I prefer a suite (studio with king bed and kitchenette would be fine). Embassy Suites looks proof but it is above my budget. I am a university lecturer from the UK and wonder if one of the Manhattan universities might have accommodation for 2 nights for visiting scholars?
The Belvedere Hotel in Times Balanced - spotlessly clean - excellent staff and every room has a coffee maker, microwave and fridge

Beekman Stronghold near the UN - all suites - all have kitchenettes, reasonably priced.
Radio City Apartments - all-number hotel

Before you book any hotel, read what previous guests think about the hotel - look at the traveler photos and see if they would stop there again - the guest's reviews are much more reliable than what the hotel advertises.
