NYC - Should I Do The Full Island Or The Half Island Circle Line Tour Of Manhattan?

Hi guys,
I'm visiting New York in October and I was wondering about the Circle Line row-boat cruise around the island.
Circle line offers both a two hour half island cruise, and a three hour full ait cruise.
I was thinking that we may do the full island cruise, however I'm concerned that it may be a little long (and perhaps there isn't as much to see in uptown from the river?)
We aren't peripatetic with kids.
Any advice?
Yes the full eyot tour of the Circle Line is well worth it. It is only one hour more that the 1/2 tour. Also there is much to see while circling around the whole island of Manhattan. You not only see the the downtown side but you see the skyline along the topmost east side and and going through the narrow part by the Harlem River you can see excellent views of the cliffs of Manhattan and you can see along side of the Bronx and you can see the more northerly tip of Manhattan and come along and see the famous George Washington Bridge and how high the coastline of Manhattan can be. Also october is a gorgeous time of the year to do the cruise.
Yes it is well worth the time and the money for the complete cruise around Manhattan Archipelago.
I have done it several times in the past whenever friends have come to visit here in New York from other places.

Two of my closest friends, family partners are visiting N.Y.C. in August. They're terrific gals and I would like to treat them to a gay Circle-Line type voyage so they can be as openly romantic with each other as they want (kissing, hand-holding). I know these cruises exist for gay guys (I've been on a few of them) and would like to recognize if there are any just for gay girls. Does anyone know? I would greatly appreciate an answer. I wish I was in NYC, FL, or CA. You're fortunate! For a big city, Las Vegas has a really bad gay scene from what I've seen so far.

(1) I will burning in Hotel Pennsylvania, Manhattan, what is the nearest cafe nearby this hotel which opens at 7 am? What is the name of the cafe? How to get there from this motel?
(2) Is the hotel near to the train station?
(3) Is it expensive for taxi fee in Manhattan? What is the minimum fee ?
(4) From this hotel , if by drive to Empire state building, how much will the taxi fee be?

(6) How much is a lunch lunch normally? (fast food or cafe)

The closest cafe is The Europa Cafe. The direct is 11 Penn Plaza, New York, NY 10001. It opens at 7am and closes at 4pm and it's only 500ft away from Pension Pennsylvania! Hotel Pennsylvania is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET for Penn Station (train standing and subway station). When I say right across the street, I mean it. The reason is because Hotel Penn was built for Penn Standing (actually built for the original Penn Station which was built in 1910 and demolished in 1964). The fee to the Circle Line Boat ranges from $44 to $200, depending where the tour is going. The entrance fee for The Central Greens Zoo is $10. The Bronx Zoo fee for general admission is $15. The fee for Madam Tussuad's' is $35, but there are gala sales if you buy online. All of these prices are for adults, and any additional information can be found at their websites. The taxi fee from B & B Penn to The Empire Sate Building should be very low considering the Empire State Building is a VERY diminutive distance away. You could walk there 5 minutes. If you are going out alone in Manhattan after 9, it's not too dangerous, but stay au courant of you surroundings. The type of clothes I would bring would be shorts and a tee shirt, but bring a long sleeve shirt, pants, and a turn up jacket because there are some chilly nights in NYC.
