Are There Any Flashy/fancy Chinese Restaurants In Manhattan?

I'm distressing to find an upscale (but fairly youthful) Chinese place to go to, preferably one with cocktails. I'm not trying to break the bank either, so I don't long for to spend more than $20 on ONE entree.

not too high-priced though, less than $15 for a main meal
Wo Hop is still my "go to" Chinese in Manhattan for people who solicitation a place with good food that is inexpensive. It's at 17 Mott St, and it's become a NY institution. It's open 24/7 and the air is truly New York. Try the homemade dumplings and the duck, two of my favorite menu choices.
Ollie's Noodle Store is another place with decent food at prices you describe. It's a chain, with a few locations around the city. I've only been to the one at 67th and Broadway, related Lincoln Center.
Another option for you would be Ruby Foo's. Another chain but it's a little more pricey than the other places I've suggested. Try the one at 77th and Broadway. There is also one in Midtown, at 1626 Broadway intimate 50th St.
For the most part, you'll find that the inexpensive Chinese places in New York are the best, and there are plenty of them. New York just has never embraced the upscale Chinese restaurant as it has restaurants of other genres.
