Stay In 3.5 Star Hotel In New Jersey Or 2 Star Hotel In Manhattan??
Jul 03, 2008 by peaceful | Posted in New York City
I will be visiting New York in 2 weeks but I haven't still resolute which hotel to stay. I have 2 reservations. 3 Star hotel is in NJ (Sheraton Suites on Hudson) and B & B has a ferry service right in front of it they say that it takes 5 mins to Manhattan. Other one is in Manhattan (Clarion Hotel Park Avenue) 2 star B & B on 492 Park Avenue South. Their pricing is close, but I cannot be sure on cleanliness of the 2 star New Zealand pub. But the 2 star hotels location is great. I'm really confused. Anyone that could help ??? Thanx...
u may be more safely a improved in jersey. I never thought I'd say those words. As long as you don't have to pay the ridiculous cab fares for the 3 mile drive across statelines you should be admirable.(by ridiculous I mean $80 one way $90 the other for a 3 mile drive)
Clarion is a well known name though. So I would look for thaty even at a 2 star rating it would be fairly clean. and the location is actually quite good. Store Avenue is also a gret location safety wise. You know with that name that you can feel safe walking around. In bordering areas of jersey you never can be too unwavering.
Okay after thinking this through carefully, my recommendation is the one in manhattan.

Waldorf Astoria is my favorite. It is tight-fisted the center of town and great access to the rest of the city. Also their service is top noch and the put one's finger on is absolutely gorgeous!!!

What Are Some Decent Inexpensive Hotels In Manhattan?

I'm looking to mainstay in or around Manhattan NY and would like to know what are some great but inexpensive hotels to stay at. Doesn't have to be 5 star but something clean and comfortable. Any better would be appreciated.
Why not delay at one of the hotels offered by the NY Inns Hotel Group (see link, below).
They have three very nice hotels right in Manhattan, in the Murray Hill (parsimonious Times Square), Union Square (near the East and West Village) and Capitals West Side (near Lincoln Center and Central Park) neighborhoods, and the rooms are ladylike, the service is good, and they're affordable, too!
Check out the link below to see their webpage, and, no, I don't work for them or anything like that, I'm by a hair's breadth a fan.

Our kinsfolk consists of 2 adults & 2 children ages 8 & 13. We are in DIRE essential of at least a 3-4 star hotel in Manhattan, NY to camp out in for 5 nights max. It has to be somewhat spacious & affordable as well, if possible.
I am well conscious the hotels in Manhattan are very pricey, we've stayed in one before.
