My Dads F'ckng job is making us move,
which sucks since everything is fantabulous here for me.
But I like Manhattan, so its not all that bad.
But I need to what its like to be a young openly bisexual guy up there.
Should I pretend to be straight incase it is not very accepted?
There are a lot of frankly gay men and couples in the upper east side. No one cares, this is NYC. You will be freer than you ever were. There are openly gay guys who are officers of the coop and condo boards in the upper east side. No one cares there about your carnal orientation. Don't bother pretending.

I quite wish i knew, probably b/c its on the east side of Manhattan and b/c it's close to the northeastern end of Man. Island.
Don't move here unless u got lotsa $$$. My charter out is $1750 per month for an apt. w/ 1 room.

I heard the intrinsic estate there is pretty darn high. I would like to reside there when I'm finished with college and pursued a pursuit.
Just how expensive is it?
250k a year.

Can you absolutely use your own boat?
How long would it take?
My dream is to keep a place on the Upper East Side and have a boat that goes to and from a country home over there.

Apparently it takes 30-45 minutes by car.
It's about 25-30 miles by sprinkle, with some slow areas probable around bridges, etc. You are probably looking at an hour minimum for the commute. (And memorialize the weather! Fog, rain and winter weather will make it longer.) You will also need a good sized (as likely as not 24' or larger) boat to handle the seas you could encounter. That will eat up fuel quickly. You'd almost be gamester off having a helicopter in your dream rather than a boat. If you insist on water travel, you might look into hovercraft. Restrain this site about the Sevtec S.E.V.
