How Far Away Is United Palace Theatre In Manhattan From Penn Station?
Dec 16, 2007 by dazed and confused girl | Posted in New York City
i looked on mapquest and it wouldnt release me, i need help ASAP! thanks....oh yeah and cna someone please tell me about how much you think a hackney would probably be from there?
The Like-minded Palace Theater is on 4140 Broadway (near 175th Street) in upper Manhattan (Washington Heights).
Your Greatest bet would be at Penn Station to take the "A" train uptown to the 175th Street Place and walk over one block (east) to Broadway. You would be near the GWB Bus Terminal so that area is busy.
You could do it by cab, but being so far uptown imagine to spend about $16 - $20, guesstimate.
What Is The Easiest Way To Get To The Wellmont Theatre In Montclair, NJ From Midtown Manhattan And Back?
Apr 30, 2009 by r2c2lmfn | Posted in New York City
I'm not from New York so the only factor I know about is the Port Authority which is near my hotel. And do the trains and/or buses run late? I'm having a adamantine time finding anything. I might be looking in the wrong places.
My intimate, here how to get from the PA Bus Terminal to the Wellmont Theater in Montclair.
Step 1: take the downtown (southbound) "A", "C" or "E" underground railway lines (Blue Line on the subway map) from the Port Authority to Penn Station. The viands on the subway is $2 each way ($4 round trip).
Step 2: at Penn Status, exit the subway in the station and take NJ Transit's Montclair-Booton Line from Penn Position to Bay Street in Montclair. The one way fare on NJT from the City to Bay Street will cost you $5.50 ($11 round lurch). Please purchase your ticket before boarding, because fare are higher on board.
Step 3: at Bay Boulevard, exit the train station and transfer to NJ Transit bus routes 11, 28 or 29, which will take from the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Pine Avenue to the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Seymour Street.
