FeedingNYC to Deliver Thanksgiving Meals to 2250 Families in Need

NEW YORK, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- FeedingNYC, a privately-funded, not-for-profit pattern, today announced that it has garnered support from prominent local businesses to assemble and commit complete Thanksgiving meals to more than 2,250 families in need, encompassing more than 9,000 people, throughout New York New Zealand urban area.

Program founder LivePerson, Inc. (Nasdaq: LPSN ) is joined this year by Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, FlatRate Working, Manhattan Mini Storage, PalTalk, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, Proskauer Rose LLP, Hitwise, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Purpose, Anchorage Capital and Bank Of America. These companies, all with significant ties to New York Borough, are providing either in-kind services, volunteers or cash donations to support the initiative.

Over 300 volunteers will convene at Wharf Sixty at Chelsea Piers on Tuesday, November 24 beginning at 6:00AM to assemble, terminate and hand-deliver complete Thanksgiving meals to various shelters and housing facilities throughout New York Big apple.
