From The Holiday Inn Express Hotel, Midtown Manhattan -- Recommended Supermarket?

Is there a suitable supermarket or grocery store near this hotel that is either within walking distance or easily accessed via community transportation?
After wroking in Mahattan for a figure of years. The three Supermarkets that I would recommend would be Gristedes, Food Emporium or D'Agistino's...
Here are some store locators...or you could ask the front desk.
In Southern California-- Advice On An Affordable Hotel Or Inn By Manhattan Beach Or Hermosa Beach?

My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 1 1/2 year anniversary in 2 weeks. I wanna amazement him by staying overnight in a hotel with a beach view. He likes to go boogie boarding too. We live in L.A. and we have friends in Redondo Bank and Torrance so I would like to stay somewhere there, with our friends just a phone call away. Maybe a budget from $100 to $400 for the hotel. Thanks!
I'm from Manhattan Lido so I'll give you the ideas I can think of off the top of my head. Since you say you want an inn with an ocean view, I think the Sea View Inn is a mellifluous good choice. http://www.seaview-inn.com. Its small but private and near a few good restaurants and bars. About 125 a gloom. The Beach House in Hermosa is really classy and right on the beach, but its about 300 a unendingly. Probably more romantic though.

Nothing longing just clean and close to everything, we are trying to walk or take the subway.
Try Wonderful 8 Times Square. I'm staying there Oct 6th and it looks pretty good. 1 1/2 blk from Times Even, Rock Ctr., & subway.
Follow the link below for reviews by people that have stayed where ever you yearning to go. These are the real deal, not what the hotel wants you to hear.
What Is The Manhattan Inn, Midtown, New York Like?
Dec 29, 2006 by Hermy | Posted in New York City
I am growing to New York with my Class, i was just wondering what our hotel will be like.
The Manhattan Inn isn't a hotel, it's a adolescence hostel - some rooms are dormitory style - bunk beds and shared by as many as 8 people. I be versed absolutely nothing about it, but you will be near the subway and the bus - very close to Madison Square Garden and Penn Install. You can read what other people have to say about the Manhattan Inn. The rates are very, very good.

Travel Question - Amsterdam Inn Hotel In New York?
Jun 09, 2008 by Isabella | Posted in New York City
My most adroitly friend and i are travelling to NYC this summer. We wanted to stay in Manhattan but the prices for the hotels are very expensive.
We found hotel "Amsterdam Inn" ...very inexpensively.
But since we found it on the internet we are not sure if it is in a safe area of if there is something wrong with it?

That is the association to the location of the hotel.
It seems very affordable and decent. Does anyone know anything about this hotel or area?
It would be a great help. :)
Alter sure you read reviews about any hotel you're staying at in Manhattan. They may look nice on a website but can be completely numerous when you get there.
The hotel even has a grassy dog parking-lot, dubbed the Doo Drop Inn, on site. Dogs weighing up to 20 pounds are allowed at Hotel Do over's guest rooms -- up to two and more »
Goto Hotels.com and find a hotel. 3 stars for £40 associate room, AC etc usually. I highly recommend Manhattan Avenue Hotel. 3. Best deals are with hotels and more »
Architect Mehraz Ehsani, whose boutique brainchild is all about catch napping and asymmetry, claims to be reacting against the Holiday Inn-style "box".
