What Is The Cheapest Hotel In Manhattan?

I penury a hotel room for about 10 days starting Sept. 8th or 9th. The only lthing I require is that the hotel is on the island of Manhattan, below 72nd st, reasonably uncontaminated and reasonable safe. Other than that, I'm looking for the lowest rates possible. Any suggestions anyone?

I stoppage at Hotel Pennsylvania...it's only 139.00 per night during week days...on 34th & 8th across from Penn Stattion/MSG...it also provide a virtuousness landmark in case you get lost too !

Not that there is any want of amusements in Miami, where women’s fashion tends to run toward patterned mini-sarongs and rhinestone freak out-flops. Every hotel has to hold back hoards of spike-heeled and shaved-headed gate-crashers every round-the-clock, proving that there are actually people in town who are not in the art world but heard it had a great social subsistence. (At the W South Beach, I have to flash my room key-card to get through the phalanx of security men stationed at the cordoned-off doors after cloudy.)

Many people greeted the fair’s second day with a hangover and a swim or a yoga league. Then they headed off to the races again, for visits to private collections and programmed conversations between curators, museum directors, collectors and artists. (Shepard Fairey was the big siren in the convention center salon.) Next came dutiful trips to satellite fairs orbiting Miami Basel. On Thursday, that meant the New Art Dealers Affinity fair, which occupies a new home this year at the Beatles’ onetime temporary domicile in South Beach, the Deauville hotel. The carpeted and chandeliered layout is a trade-up for NADA, which was theretofore based at the shabby Soho Studios downtown (now the location of the Pulse fair). At NADA smaller galleries proffer lower-priced works by emerging artists who have little sway at the main proper. Dealers said they had done swift business in the fair’s opening hours, but I found mini art of an exceptional nature, though the hotel itself retains some of its 1960s Miami Modern architecture and décor. I didn’t set-back long.
