I Want To Take A Boat Cruise Around Manhattan - Does Anybody Know Of A Good Ones?
Sep 25, 2007 by peptoe | Posted in New York City
i don't necessitate a corny tourist one nor do I want a 5 course meal. I want a semi fancy medicate up, cocktails, appetizer and nice ride around manhattan..
Ring Line has various cruises on various boats that go around Manhattan. I was just on the Zephyr back in June, but it was charted. I'm not steadfast on how fancy it is regularly. There are two sites for the Circleline which I posted down below for you
You can also check out the Spirit Cruises. Theyre Non-Standard real nice as well, although depending on the boat you chose, you may have to leave from Hoboken, NJ, which is easily accessible by the Channel train.
Which Train Station Do I Get Off Of If I'm Going On A Cruise On 711 Ave. In Manhattan, NY?
Jan 06, 2009 by Erin B | Posted in New York City
I'm prevailing on a cruise in march and it is leaving from 711 Ave. Manhattan, NY. I am taking a train from CT and i don't know which station to get off of, is it penn bus station or grand central? Does anyone know which one is closer? Thanks!
711 *12th* avenue is what you cruel. That's about four avenues west of Penn Station, about 8 avenues west of Grand Central, and also a few blocks north of both. If you are carrying valuable luggage, you will want to take a cab from either.
In general, MetroNorth trains into GCS are cheaper than Amtrak trains into Penn...the cab cost differential will not be enough to make up for this.
