Can Anyone Tell Me Decently Priced And Good Restaurants In The Manhattan Area?
Aug 06, 2009 by Abigail | Posted in New York City
I'm present to New York for college visits, and I was just wondering what decently priced (preferably reduced) AND good restaurants are in the Manhattan area.
I've looked on the internet and a lot of restaurants are too expensive. I don't know where to look because I'm not free with the area.
Please and thank you.

I know that a lot of the restaurants there are pretty expensive.
It depends on what genre of food you prefer like if you like mexican food there's a great spot in Seam Street called Calexico Carne Asada.Tacos are like 3-4$ and the burritos are like 7-8$. It's more outside and smaller if you want more privacy, there's a bit of a wait but it's great food. Or you could go to like a Chipotle which are like everywhere in 34th st. ,42nd st., Noho, woodland ave., the village. There's also a place with the best $9 plate of pasta it's called Atlas Café in 116 Havemeyer St.

Where can I fix books in around Manhattan area in NYC?
Hi all,
I equitable broke my boss' book while making hardcopies of a few pages from the book. Some pages kill out. Please tell me how to fix the book? Any strong glue that can stick the very thin book leaves back into the main top edge of the book? If neccessary, is there any shops around Manhattan area that do such fixing job for me? Thanks a lot for your help!
Hmm...well, you could always call the NYPL and ask if someone there has any recommendations on how to fix it and if they don't perhaps see if they know any places in the city where you could get it fixed. I'd think they'd know how, though.

Im planning a blunder to NYC in May and I have never been before. I understand the majority of the attractions is manhattan. What area of Manhattan would be a central location to easily see everything? Something nice but not SUPER valuable (no more than $160 a night) I like unique.
Thanks!!
I reckon in 'core' Manhattan most "nice" hotels are at least $200 per night. Stay in Queens for $150 or less--or a tatty hotel in Manhattan for $60 (corner of W42nd St. and 9th Ave.).

I'm insomuch as visit NY, but I don't want to stay in NJ, Brooklyn, Queens, etc..I would to stay in Manhattan but its very difficult to find any clean inn and cheap at the same time..or relative cheap, I'm not looking for luxury but and don't want fleas and rats either.
You can try some of the hostels in Manhattan. They are fairly cheap and clean. Perfect to spend a night if you would be out for sight seeing most of the day.
