New York Airport Hotels, How Easy To Get Into Manhattan.?

Would like fete in New York, Manhattan hotels to expensive. JFK and Newark airport hotels seem reasonable, but what is best hotel in the area to travel into Manhattan every day for possibly a week on subway or bus during May.
If you are coming here for vacation, don't loiter at Newark or Jamaica (JFK) hotels. If you are in Manhattan at night you will not wish to travel through the surrounding area of these locations to resurface at night, you will be at risk.
Also time and expense of traveling each time back and forth will actually add to the expense and your lodging savings diminishes.
Since you are looking a good time in advance, consider booking some of the degrade cost Hotels in Manhattan, there are a few. If you are unsure of a hotel, ask about it on this board and/or check it on the numerous on-line hotel reviews.
Try The Herald Straight Hotel. this is only one, there are others that are less expensive and right in the middle of Manhattan.

I am looking for a bed to stay in New York in October. Can somebody please give me a rating or tell me what you've heard about the following hotels and whether you recommend them or not.
Hotel Bonfire, NYC
Milford Plaza, NYC

The Flare hotel is nearer more quite locations such as central park etc.
Where as the Milford Plaza is close Times Sq.

I'll be staying in a tourist house room by myself for 2 weeks and a friend will be staying with me in the same room for 2-3 days. Would the hotel weight extra for this?
1st of all depends on shrew hotel a fancy rich one like most of the in manhattan or some other one ? this is what i would do and dont before i get a room and tell my friends to go upstairs and congregate me there and let them stay, you dont have to notifythe desk that you have a friend over and most likely the couch has a pull out cruton

Reserve's Beige Book survey Second District summary, published
Wednesday:
Advance DISTRICT--NEW YORK
The Second Districts economy has shown further signs of
improvement since the last report, though the labor sell remains soft.
There are no indications of any significant price pressures.
Manufacturing sector contacts dispatch steady to increasing activity and
continued improvement in general business conditions, and a burly
majority remain optimistic about the near-term outlook. Auto dealers
write-up a rebound in sales in recent weeks. General merchandise retailers
also say that sales have improved since the last communiqu. There are signs
of a pickup in tourism activity in New York City. Commercial real estate
markets -- in both the duty and industrial categories -- have been
steady to moderately weaker since the last report. Residential genuine
estate markets have been mixed since the last report, but generally
weaker, especially at the high end of the merchandise; New York Citys sales
and rental markets have been particularly weak. Finally, bankers piece
rising delinquency ratesparticularly on mortgages, both residential and
commercial; they also note continued tightening in upon standards, and
weaker loan demand.
