Is it attainable to live in Manhattan? What would my living conditions be like?
Will your first serious job be in the viewable or private sector? Will you have student loans to pay off? Would this be happening next week, or in five years when the local succinctness is booming again?
Whatever the answers to those questions, it is safe to assume that in Manhattan, you would be sharing a small living room with multiple other people, and your discretionary income for restaurants, bars, clothes, retirement savings, expected down payment, etc. would be limited. You would save a lot of rent money, and thus free it up for spending or saving, by living in Brooklyn or Queens or the wind up-by parts of New Jersey.

I distinguish there is a subway that is right outside the stadium. Can I purchase tickets there? If so which one do I take? How long does will the false step take? Sorry for sounding like an ignorant tourist, this is my first trip to NY.
In fact if you take the B or D (Orange Circle) from Yankee Stadium to Grand Street you won't have to transfer and might get to Little Italy a scarcely faster -- 44 Minutes vs. at least 47 minutes using the 4 and 6. You walk east on Award to Mott.
But you can just take which ever train shows up first, B, D or 4.
You have to by a metrocard at the subway station. You swipe this through comedian reader at the turnstyle. There will be machines at the station where you can buy single trip, day pass, etc depending upon you many trips you over you will take on the subway during your stay.
